Ok... Me and my friend (who likes house ) got in a little bit of an argument over Cowgirl by Underworld. He said that it was a house song, while I said it was progressive techno (or maybe just plain techno). I was wondering if either of us are right. Let me know what you think.

Your both wrong. The original fits into a very exclusive category I like to call "Underworld". "Underworld" is definitely not house, techno, or trance. It is kind of a mixture of several genres. The recent Bedrock and Futureshock remixes, on the other hand, would be classified as prog house.

when i bought it, it was labled "prgressive". it is DEFINITELY not house. your friend is confused.

Alright guys... Thanx... now I get to tell my friend that we were both wrong, but hey it beats letting a "house head" win an argument...
