- Chill Out Room
-- suggestions for clubs, cities, etc.
I'm from Wash. D.C. and will be living in Rome for the month of June and then travelling around Europe for another month and a half. Anyone have any suggestions on cities, clubs, etc. to check out? I'm also trying to meet up with as many people as I can that share my passion for trancEmuzik...
u gonna visit Holland as well?? cuz in the Holland forum, u can find some threads from pplz wanting to go here 2, but didnt know where to go...
Hit up Venice and Florence for sure. Two of the most beautiful places on the planet. Lake Como is also breath-takingly awesome.
ENgland!!
theres loads of clubs here..
www.clubber.co.uk
will have listings for u
or...
www.clubconnexion.com
thats good too =p
Thanks for the tips. I'll definitely check out clubber.co.uk. Also, I'm getting the feeling that Italy is not so big on the electronic music scene-at least not trance. I haven't been able to locate any clubs with decent lineups so if anyone knows of any good clubs in Italy, please enlighten me.
Whatever you do, do not go to Den Bosch in Holland, that plac sucks if you wanna party, too bad that I live there
hey trancediva, from your first post i'm assuming that you'll be travelling around europe in July. Well the number one place that comes to mind is Berlin and LoveParade on the 21st of July. Even if you go to Berlin at another time they have amazing clubs, eg. Tresor. Other then that i'd recommend the Netherlands because the clubs are great and the people know how to party, one of the reasons i'm going back there this summer. Have fun!
Thanks DJ Bo. I was actually planning on being in Germany around the 21st, right before I hit Brussels and Amsterdam. This may be a stupid question but what exactly is Love Parade? I've heard of it but I don't really know what it is? Do you know anything about the rest of Germany? Aside from Berlin, I wanted to stop in another city, possibly Munich. What do you think?? Good scene?

hey trancediva,
LoveParade is the biggest outdoor party/rave in the world. Last year it attracted 1.6 million people where 800,000 were from outside of Berlin. Check out www.loveparade.de and just switch the language to english. The whole thing lines the main street in Berlin which runs around the tiergarten (berlins version of central park in NY). There are floats with DJs on them and they just drive down the street and play music. I think i starts sometime at 2 in the afternoon and goes all night. The best part is that it's free!! No money needed, just plenty of water and adrenaline. As for Munich, i've never been there but i plan on going there this summer. I think it will be a pretty rockin place to party as well. I'm not from Germany so maybe try to find some German TA's on here and they'll probably help you with the Munich scene. I could give you some great info on partying in the Czech Republic if you plan on going there.
go to ibiza.

Thanks Paul_Van_Trance. I'll look into Picotto's website. There has to be something. Let me know if you hear of anything else.
