Posted by Slylee on Dec-18-2002 20:27:

hahahah my dad always refers to pants as "trousers" and i always make fun of him...he has spent a lot of time in UK though so i'm sure the lingo rubbed off on him and he's trying to be cool

Smiley DJ

ok so if u gotta wear a pair of black trousers with a suit or something wtf do u call them then ? pants... ?

Posted by Slylee on Dec-18-2002 20:52:

i call them pants. pants being anything long...anything besides shorts. i also call them "slacks"....like if they are the kind you wear with a suit and tie. anything denim and long is "jeans"...hahah but it's probably the same for jeans in uk.

Posted by Tranex02 on Dec-18-2002 20:56:

yea....i call them pants.

Posted by chris_norris on Dec-18-2002 21:01:

My grandma says "slacks"....

I tend to shy away from that term good old english "Trousers" for me.

Posted by Ian on Dec-18-2002 21:37:

Shorts is short for Short Trousers

anything longer than that therefore should be trousers

Pants is underwear

Posted by Technaut on Dec-18-2002 21:57:

funny how some ppl say Fanny instead of arse/ass

Posted by torontotrance on Dec-18-2002 22:03:
