Why do car spedometers go up to speeds they cant possible travel at?
No street car can do 300 mph
.

v

standard instrument gauge...goes from 0-220kmh...
same as with birds
they just like to tease us
BTW, did i tell you about my custom amp thats the loudest in the world... it goes up 11 when you need that extra punch above 10.
nope u didnt tell me about that
super
It has to do with power/weight ratio.
A car that can't travel 200 km/h will not be able to pull a caravan up a steep hill...... or at least that's the legal justification for it anyway.

standard i think because they don't have to make these things for every car
so for every BMW a one that goes until 260
for every Volkswagen one that goes until 200
you mean
That looks like an M3 Interior, and the speed is most definately Kilometres per Hour. I think that a derestricted M3 can reach speeds of about 180mph? if that is the case, and u calculate that for Kilometres, it is 288, which is close enough!
