Being on this website i'm assuming you like trance. In that case you will have to get down to a club called Turnmills in London on a friday night. Every friday night (and I do mean EVERY friday night) you are guaranteed to see at least 1 big name trance dj. I've been to Turnmills about 20 times and seen Oakenfold, PVD, Tiesto (monthly residency), Judge Jules (monthly residency), Tall Paul (monthly residency-his dad owns the club!), Sandra Collins, Marco V, Armin van Buuren etc I could go on and on. Best thing is cover charge never exceeds 12 pounds.
Other than that Gatecrasher have a monthly night at Heaven nightclub in London-this always sells out and is always huge, last month Ferry and Armin went back to back there. It was unbelievable to say the least!
Big events like Gatecrasher Summer Sound System are good as well-last week of June i think.
The love parade is the best event ever, I did it in 2001, 1.3 million clubbers there-awesome! Berlin (Germany as a whole really) is mainly Techno country, and if you do find trance it is normally banging rather than uplifting. The techno clubs are wicked though, Tresor is about the best techno club i've been to (might have closed now though).
Hope this helps.

I wouldn't suggest London for a trance scene, crasher, godskitchen & Passion have numerous big names and less shit (not so much of the tall paul, jules etc) more ferry, kai tracid & Newer guys, plus the ppl who go are great

Only advice, money. Even if you think you have enough money, get more money. Money money money....+ money.

I have to agree except opening partys are great too! Less ppl, better acomm deals and you can get a sun bed!

Absolutly best fortnight of my life! Also the most expensive! 1500 quid and none was spent on food! The vibe of the place is amazing!
