Party Hat [HardTrance Mix, D/DL] DJ EU-Gene - High Volume

TAs, I've recorded a new mix.
This is my attempt at a "HardTrance marathon" la our DJ Dawn and Tunnel Trance Force (TTF). Hard and fast (well, not quite as fast as Dawn's )

Unfortunately there are some mistakes (particularly in one place) but I hope they won't detract from your enjoyment. This is my second mix.

Length: 71:12 (~85 MB)
I have the cue sheet if you want.

1. NuNRG - High Volume
2. 666 - The Rhythm Takes Control (DJ T-Rob Mix)
3. Peran - Good Time (Original Mix)
4. Dirt Devils - The Drill (Evacuation Mix)
5. Mass Medium - Mindblower
6. Starsplash - Rainbow in the Sky (Club Mix)
7. Darksucker - Space, Time, Energy (Original Mix)
8. Ralph Fridge - Man on Mars (Sven-R-G & T-Bass Mix)
9. DJ Quicksilver - New Life (Original Mix)
10. DJ Krid-Kid vs. DJ T-Rob - Cosmic Fusion (Full Vox Edit)
11. Apollo - Dance (Ext. Vocal Mix)
12. Eyes of Tanatloc - Dreams Are Forever (Lonely Club Mix)
13. Bocaccio Life - The Secret Wish (Alici Remix)
14. Cosmic Gate - The Wave (Original Mix)
15. Kai Tracid - 4 Just 1 Day (Energy Mix)
16. Nu-NRG - Supersonic

I got it from Juno. http://www.juno.co.uk

Do a search on "Cosmic Fusion." You'll find...

DJ KRID KID vs DJ T ROB: Cosmic Fusion (Push Up Germany)
- Trance
12": Cosmic Fusion (full vox version, dub)/No Escape (club version) (PU 5013) [6.50] - add

which is what I did and got the vinyl.

Some of the songs aren't really my style (too trancy) but overall, I think the mix flows pretty well with the track selection. Sometimes I felt like I wanted to reach out and give one record a little push. Also, as I have said before to some other ta dj's, when you are mixing harder style of trance, it is (at least I htink it is) better to mix out after the first buildup + breakdown. Most of the time hard trance songs have pretty boring in between parts imo. Some of the mixes could have been elongated ie cosmic fusion into dance, and not just volumed faded out. Work on your beatmatching and keep the phrasing up, because your tracks are real ace.

ps. dance into dreams are forever I really hate it when yor mixing and realize the only way to correct is to simply slam fader to other track

pps. the first mix was real good, same with the wave into just one day

yeah man, I really fucked up that transition
I was just standing there, bewildered, and had no clue what to do.
It was pretty hard at the end, I didn't have a lot of time... plus my decks don't hold pitch that well. (Numark 1520's.)

But, I had the courage to just forget it and go on with the mix.

Also: the reason why I included some parts of the tracks is because I loved the basslines in some of them. Particularly "Rainbow in the Sky", and "Man on Mars". The beginning basslines are just so cool and (and hard!), I really enjoyed them.

Thanks for reviewing.
