hi i've been susing stantons mk-II needles for scratching but i'm not sure when i have to chagne them. Can anyone inform me?

as a rough guide...

a. when they crackle/pop a lot
b. when the tune starts to sound grainy
c. when they start to pick up fuckloads of fluff

generally, distored/unclean highhats is the telltale sign of a sylii ready for replacement.. that or reduction in tracking ability.

generally stanton stylii last a while.. if they sound good, i'd just keep running them
