Now you're probably wondering...what's FWF?

I was reading this month's Men's Health mag (a great mag btw) and they had an article about a single guy who was doing the dating thing via online single's sites.

He met up with one of his dates one day to tell her that it just wasn't going to work out.
He told her, she agreed and then she suggested a FWF (Friends Who F!$*) arrangement.
No strings.
No calling each other for favours.
Just booty calls and that's it.

Now the article is funny, because according to him (and most men who agree) this arrangement is every adolecents men's wet dream.
But he couldn't go through with it...
Even though his current "girlfriend" was many miles away...

To him, sex involves emotion and it would be like getting to ride a porche without being able to show it to your friends.
Men have sex to feel emotion while women use emotion to have sex.

He called up a friend who's a sexual tharapist and she said that many women make this arrangement and are actually better than men at it.

So my questions are:

a) Would you seriously consider this arrangement? Why?
b) If you're a guy, do you have sex to feel emotion for a women. Women? Do you use emotions to have better sex?
c) Are women that much more in control of their emotions that they could handle this better than men??

This should be good....

a) i would if i wasnt in a relationship and if i didnt want one. reason is.. id be gettin laid with no... i love you's

b) i do with my girlfriend, as it better having it off with her than a one nighter.

c) i agree that women could handle it better, cos ive seen this sorta thing in practice, or maybe theyre just hiding there emotions. i hate all those fuckin guessing games with "whats wrong"

a)I have previously, and it's alright as long as you dont get caught up in it all. The whole point is to feel good.

b)When there are emotions involved the sex is SOOO much better, but emotions are not a requirement to have a good time.

c)I think women are alot more comfortable with their sexuality these days. Im always finding girls who like sex more than I do (scary thought). Im sure there are girls who have similar problems as guys with emotions. I think it's just all circumstance really.

A) I've already been in a few like that. I did it cause i was 17
B) I dunno. I stoped my casual sex rein cause i wasn't happy. so mabye yeah, i need emotion.
C) *shrugs* I dont think so. Most guys are just for sex to begin with, I think this guy was ''special'. One girl i had one of those things with, was horribly not incontrol of her emotions, she was completly off the wall. she cried during sex once :| and not the good kinda cry either.

a. I did it, yeah, mostly because I didn't want to commit to anything long term. None of the guys I had sex with were more than just for fun, just to experiment, just a release.
b. I never considered mixing emotions and sex. I was always able to keep them separate in my mind. Emotions were for friends, family, etc., sex was just physical.
c. I think many women have problems with mixing emotions and sex. I never did but maybe I'm different. I have seen a lot of my friends get totally caught up in all kinds of bad relationships/bad breakups because they couldn't differintiate between plain fun sex and real committed sex.

That said, since I met the man who has become the most important person in my life, my husband, I have realized that 'FwF' was just a learning/growing experience in my life, preparing me for the ability to totally commit to one person. For me, he is everything that I can ever want in a life partner/soulmate-forever, but I don't think that I would feel this way if I had not experienced a variety of other sexual situations/'relationships' in my life. I look at the 40 or so previous fuck-buddies as steps on a ladder to get me to the place where I am able to be a truly committed loving partner to one very special man. I totally love him!

i definitely think that women are acting more like men these days as far as being agressive and being OK with having casual sex. personally i am against having sex just to have sex with no feelings involved. that kind of sex wouldn't even get me off. it's better when you are in love

I have done FwF before and frankly it's never as satisying as sex with a real lover....until they need a break and leave you frustrated

1. Me & her are curious about more partners... We love to fuck. I'd do it 4 sho!

2. I have sex 'cause I get horny.

3. Male or female... I don't think that matters... It all depends on what type of person they are.

HAHA...I had to chuckle at that...

You're right, sort of. You really have to watch which of those mags you pick up cause there's just too many pretty boys on them, it's hard to take the mag seriously.

But Men's Health has been around forever, and it's an excellant men's mag.
They always have funny ass articles and very good men's issues.
Everything from dress, to manners, sex, and of course, health and fitness.
It's my fav mag for sure.
