If u mean in every country. Then i guess yeah. Itz just like alcohol in many wayz. If were allowed to smoke, drink and sniff paint thinner and gas then im sure legalizing a bush wont really make a difrence. Hell there are countrys that control and sell opium and make there $$$ of the addicted. So im sure weed aint any big deal. Although we'd probably see a few more drug related accidents if it was one more thing we could get our handz on legaly.

Yes. Its less harmfull than cigs/alchahol, and there isn't any strong reason not to allow it. I suspect one of the large reasons its never been legalised is how its distributars are almost always linked to criminal activity, so they probably wouldnt allow themselves to be regulated, and would just undersell everyone else.

i hate arguging this but...

i guess..in terms of the US though, i think it better be taxed liek hell and regulated by the FDA. i havent tried weed before, but im sure there are so many impurities in it. i dunno about the rest of the us/world, but i know in california, we arent allowed to smoke in public places, it should be the same with weed

first off...i've tried drugs, but i'm not a drug user. as far as the question in hand...yes it should be legalized if nothing more it would be a great money maker for the government and a huge step to stopping drug trafficing problems in the us if not the world.

I was talking with a city judge a couple of weeks ago (who ALSO thinks is should be legalized) and we thought of a good point. US jails are absolutely packed with people. But the majority of people in the jails aer in there for charges having to do with drugs like weed, lower level drugs, not narcotics and barbituates and such. The prisons have started turning away REAL criminals because there's no room for them! It's a huge problem here, and it needs to be solved. Legalizing weed would solve the problem. On top of that, it really is less dangerous than alcohol.

It's illegal because of the bad stigma attached to it, which s really falso. Eh...what can ya do? It's going to stay illegal now since we have a Republican-run government

They do that here in Toronto as well. I know a few people whove been arrested for possetion and let of with like a one week rehab or they agree to see a councilor once in a while. Most of tha time people are given tickets for small amounts of possesion if your 18 or older so unless your caught dealing, it aint that bad in my area.

well, alcohol is already legalized
so what's wrong with legalizing weed? They were thinking about this in Nevada but the proposition failed, didn't get enough votes...

alchol is only legal if you are 21 and over. Then their are laws of what you can purchase at what times as well for any over this age.

These laws are strictly enforced, I live in texas.. and i hear these guys enforce them lightly.

Here's the legal status of weed in Belgium (the most liberal after Holland [<--- that country rox, and that's coming from a Belgian ]).

You can use and possess weed in your home. It is allowed to grow your own weed on your property. No more then 3 other people may smoke weed along with you.
However; are not allowed:
Selling weed
Smoking weed in group
" " in public
" " in presence of minors

Furthermore, you may not cause harassment to others (e.g. by making the entire building smell like weed). Besides, you can be forced to undergo treatment if it's clear that you have no longer control over your usage.

Why can't you smoke in group? I don't know.
How are you to obtain your stuff when no-one can sell it to you? Grow your own. How do I sell the seeds? Illegally.

This law is far from perfect, but it's cool to know you won't have any problems with the police when you follow the rules.

i think that weed should be legal. i mean fuckin cigarettes are legal and they kill how many people a year
alcohol is legal yet 60 some % of spousal abuse is directly related with drunken violence. When you smoke weed, or at least when i do, i dont get violent, i chill and shit, get happy sometimes, goof around, laugh. also, drinking drunk isnt the best idea, very hard to do well, driving while smoking marijuana, its easy, almost like driving sober. except you need a little more concentration, so you dont lose focus of the road. for me at least

are you talking about cigarettes not being able to smoke in public, cuz if you are, you can only not smoke when there is a no smoking sign, like in restaurants, you can smoke anywhere else, on the street, in the park, wherever

the drinking age used to be 18 i believe, an di think it still is in some states. I dont know why they changed it to 21. maybe they think 21 year old drunk drivers will have more responsibility(haha).

Prohibition made more sense than the current war on drugs, at least they fought something that kills thousands. Weed is only illegal because decades ago, some company saw weed as a threat to their business, so in our lovely free market, they pressured the government to illegalize weed.

Yes that's true...I know dat story...very sad

weed seems harmless but from my personal experiance i have learned its not so harmless...the past 3 months have been the worst of my life cuz i smoked to much before then and i stopped and i have ruined my brains chemicals for now...its going to take some time for them to get back to normal and myself to become un depressed

In a few years the Liberals will get what they want,Weed will be legal to an extent, And in a few more years, They will be against "Big Marijuana" (Since tehy hate "Big Tobacco" now), They cant deal with their own creations, Do I think weed should be legal? Yes. (I hate Liberals) Their is nothiong wrong with smokeing a little bit of hash\marijuana(I smoke hashish, Not Marijuana), Alchol is more dangerous then Marijuana.

When our parents were our age (50,60,70's Late 70's they highered it) You could be 18 to buy beer. My mom use to talk about when they raised the drinking age to 18 they use to go up to Canada and buy beer their.
