OK, here's the key components of the system that I'm currently running:

AMD 650mhz Duron on Asus A7V Motherboard
512mb 133mhz RAM
3 80gig Seagate Baracuda HDDs
SB Live! value soundcard, using kxaudio drivers for ASIO
Evolution MK-249C2 keyboard
Windows 2000

Whenever I'm using CPU intensive plugins like the grand, I start getting crackles. What would be the best way to upgrade my computer?

Should I upgrade my sound card? If so, what card? How good are the ASIO drivers on the new SB Audigy 2? What about the audiophile 2496 or Terratec DMX6fire?

Or should I upgrade my CPU, motherboard and ram?

ok looks like u have latency
go to the sound options increse the delay to more the 100ms

as for the pc

sound card is importtant as well as ram for runnting alll those vst pluging try to get more ram up to 1012megs
