What do u think which track was da darkest and da most frightening in 2002?

DARK SOHO - UNUSAL CEREMONY

I haven't heard that one you posted but I'm going to go with:

Mauro Picotto- Dark Room
Umek- Gatex

The Green Martian- Harmonic Minor is a little on the "scary/dark" side also, but then again the majority of Green Martian songs are.

The most frightening: Moby- Extreme Ways (DJ Tiesto Remix) wins hands down. Why Tiesto? WHY!?!

how come everyone thinks gatex is from 2002?

it was released in the 1st quarter of 2001 on Potential, on "The X EP"

sven vth - vision (state one) and vision (state two) are very "dark" and "scary"

Smiley DJ

Moshic & Zidan productions and remixs have been pretty spooky and erie.. They have some sort of uncomfortable, unsettling mood they create (which is not always a bad thing.. gotta freak the crowd out once in a while)

Stephane K - Numb for me

Off the top of my head I remember Discovery - Missing (John '00' Fleming Mix) being really quite dark. Apologies if a) the track isn't from 2002 and b) it's actually really happy compared to some of the other tracks people are listing

I'd have to agree with you there, that track is just pure evil

Lemon 8 - New york, new york

I know it was finished even before 11 september 2001, but wasn't it released this year?

Anyways, a freakin' mental track. though that's not really trance at all, more like progressive house. he actually does a few tracks on the trancy side sometimes.

The melody may be "happy", but the strings have a scary quality to them. The bassline is definately dark and clashes with the melody to give the song an edge.

Also you have to remember that something can be scary to some people, and not to others. Kinda like how some people are afraid of clowns, and other people think clowns are funny.

Mauro Picotto - Back to Cali (Push Mix)

The bass line in this song is kinda darkish I guess.
