is there a cure for TA??

im on my computer 16 hours a day, at least. i work from home most of the time, once in a while i have to venture into NYC. since i found TA...im not getting my work done. i wake up every morning and i say to myself, im not going to visit that website today..its evil. 20 minutes later..im here. im not missing deadlines yet...december is a slow month, but i can definately see it comming. do i just give in to my tranceaddict addiction and not sleep...or is there a way to stay away from this site...at least during the week?

please advise

on a serious note....It's actually easy. You just have to cut your daily dosage and the problem will solve itself. Some months ago due to some problems i could go online for 30 minutes maximum a day. And checking TA for 5 minutes I became totally uninterested and bored..donno..u see it in a totally different way once uve reached some distance. Its paradoxical: the MORE you are here, the more u wanna stay, the less you are here the less you care.

actually, i quit for about a month because of all the stupid flame wars and insults that were elevating the level of hate on the boards / chatroom... it wasn't that hard because at that time most of the threads in chillout were some boring bashing threads

as you see, i'm back, but only because finally i see light on the boards and because somebody asked me

If you can get yourself, not to check for new threads more than like once an hour, you can cut your time back a lot. You could also remove ta from your favorites list, that way you'll have to make a decision to go there, and not be like "Hmm favorites, oh TA!".
