Thinking of moving to another state. Colorado in mind

I live here in Albuquerque New Mexico. In my opinion, this place has nothing. No good job opportunities, no exciting places to go. No good record stores, no clubs, not really much. So that is why im having a hard time finding a job here. Someting that i enjoy.

Since colorado is just up there next to new mexico and there is no way i want to go to arizona, i was just thinking jsut that. Just to move to colorado. And try to find a job there to stable myself and sacrifice for a bit till i get all settled. What do you guys think. Is colorado is nice place to live at? I've been there once and i liked it. The roads are easy to get by and the weather is very nice. I just don't know if it is expensive there or what.

Where in colorado should i move to? Would it be all city like.

hey man,

im from Boulder Co...good stuff.

ive only been to NM several times, and the south and western region of CO is prolly similar tho...geographically and culturally. its a pretty conservative state over all.

here in Boulder, it can be somewhat expensive to live, tho buying stuff other than houses and whatnot isnt all that expensive - the resort towns in the mountain towns are often WAYYY more expensive. Boulder is not as conservative as the rest of CO, generally. CU has its campus here, its kinda yuppie and kinda hippy. i think its alright. there are some great places in Denver to live also.

ive been to many places in CO tho, and youd have to be more specific to where you may be interested in.

as for trance, the Denver Metro area, as well as Colorado Springs both have decent scenes. Denver gets many of the big names. i wish it were a little better, but you can find trance cds if you look and the clubs are nice and have pretty good crowds. late|

I don't really like Colorado, seeing as how I was born in Anaheim I miss the beach. Denver's alright, but there are places I'd rather live. I didn't like living in Boulder, didn't seem like there was much to do, all I did was drink. CO Springs has alot of nature crap, like Garden of the Gods, and I have to admit it does have one kick ass mall with a fucking HOCKEY RINK in it( !!!)but I haven't spent that much time down there.

I need to go to Montreal or Toronto, my friend used to live in upstate NY and tells me all the time how much I'd love those cities...

yeah, take a good look @ Canada.

Great place to live, once you get past all the dumb myths (igloos, ultra cold weather, eskimoes, lumberjacks...)

Colorado Springs also has Pikes Peak Drove up it while on vacation to Colorodo, it sure puts a rollercoaster to shame in the thrill ride department.

Nebraska/Kansas is nice if you fancy sun setting beneath the horizon on the great plains. I liked being able to actually see the sunset for once, cant do that much in the Industrial Wasteland that is the Northeast US.
