Most dissapointing tracks of the year

What songs disapointed you the most? Stuff qualifies if its over-hyped, or if everyone says it's good, but it ends up sucking.

Anyway for me the most overrated track of the year is Gouryella - Ligaya

sentiments exactly...
or maybe everyone expected too much.

I'll participate though... Personally I loved Ligaya and, c'mon, don't tell me that all of the AvB and PvD productions were crap, not true at all.

My vote goes for Carrera 2. Quite boring as I was expecting much more, but that's just my humble opinion...

I once was a big fan of their works, but this style is killing me.
I still prefer their old tunes. Also disappointing:

Svenson & Gielen - Answer The Quesion [All Mixes], a lot of S & G actually.

-you! you expect too much of it, and when it didn't have that ultimate buildup you waited for, you get disappointed. don't blame the producer for an overrated track, blame yourself for expecting too much of it.

that's at least what i think. i don't expect anything from anyone, i just listen to the music.

f'ing werd! why you people listen to all the hype, complain about the insane amount of all the threads about that track, expect the track to be insanely godlike, and then whine about how you didn't like it because you behaved like a dumb monkey?

well i wasnt really dissapointed w/ these cuz i wasnt expecting much outa of them anyways. just wanted to make it a point that regardless of if i followed the hype or not these tunes are way overrated and also were overhyped.....

*and basically anything and everything that Dumonde /Comic Gate released this year


in more or less words all those mentioned blows imo. oddly enough most of the songs mentioned were also ranked in ID&T ASOT Top 20 Of The Year...

It didnt need a remix
It killed the tune
The whole special feeling about 7 cities was distroyed
It re-released over 10000000000000000000000 copies


....The remix was actually shite..my opinion.

yeah i admit i like that one i was talking more about original productions before mixed

thought of another overrated/over hyped thing this year

*most of the Push Mixes.. as much as i love Push Mix of Troy and m.i.k.e stuff sounds good, his remixes are becoming rather unoriginal.. if u know what i mean. the formula works for awhile but after then, it just gets old. i guess thats my only REAL dissapointment this year

Gouryella - Ligaya (DJ Tiesto Mix)

I would have to say gouryella - ligaya. It's a good track but the quality of it isn't as good as gouryella - tenshi or gouryella - gouryella. And I think that there are other tracks this year that are better. I love the armin van buuren remix of seven cities. He gave the track exactly what it lacked originally , a sweet beat.

Jeah but their Remixes of other tracks are all awesome (most of them)

Mostly al those 2002 remixes of classical trance tunes!
