Gouryella has always been a fine Dutch collaboration, between Tiesto and Ferry, but i heard this f*cked up rumour...
Instead of Ferry & Tiesto it is Ferry & JOHN 'WANKER' Hewbank who created Ligaya. Hewbank is just a song writer for a famous dutch artist here in holland who goes by the name of Marco Borsato..\
Is this rumour true? And if so, why John and not Tiesto???

yes, Tiesto didn't participate in Ligaya. it's Ferry only. the melody's written by that other guy you mentioned. Rumours said Tiesto didn't participate because Ferry was pissed with him after the interview where Tiesto said he "wasn't just another Ferry Corsten".

but, another thread about Ligaya?

Ferry Corsten did produce Ligaya (Tiesto quit Gouryella), but he indeed got a little help from John Ewbank (without the 'h'), who helped him out with the strings arrangement and the vocals. See also the December edition of ID&T Sounds, Lifestyle & More Magazine, page 27 to 29

it is true..and he has participate in before in gouryella...and HE IS NOT A WANKER..we already knew that tiesto couldnt make it to gouryella for ligaya cause of his world tour and his heavy scedule

That _was_ just a rumour... not a true one though... They where never pissed at eachother

With the stuff Tijs has been putting out lately I can't imagine him producing sth like Ligaya. Personally I liked the track. Definately not the best Gouryella tune, but pretty good all around I think!

thats the funniest thing I've heard all day!, the original mix of ligaya whips every other gouryella original mix, every other gouryella has been about the amazing remixes they've had (transa mix of tenshi, AvB mix of walhalla...)
Think about it, with the state of some tiesto's productions lately, I think he needs Ferry
