In Your opinion..

Which Djs are better? European or American or canadian????

I think i prefer European ones because in my opinion they are more talented i guess with more background to trance or whatever they are mixing!

i dont see what difference it makes to what talent u hav, based on where u were born

good pt there mikey. If you can play well...who cares what country yer from.

While I dont care were a dj comes from, it sure seems that most of the big dj's come from Europe. But as long as there good, I dont care where there from.

Word!!

Depends on what genre you are talking about. Usa has some great house dj's & tech dj's as well, just look @ detroit. Europe has it all though . So ive got to go with europe.

Posted by Martin McG on Dec-30-2002 01:23:

it depends on your style and obviously your talent! but i think its european too for the simple fact i think theres alot more dance music made and played in europe! i might be being stereotypical but id say america was into more genres and thats why the scene isnt as big as in europe ATM! but who cares where the DJ is from as long as they are good

Posted by Floorfiller on Dec-30-2002 01:38:

this thread is just asking for arguments, but of course everyone is going to say europe...if nothing else, you guys probably have more djs giving you a better chance for a good dj .

Posted by P`zazz on Dec-30-2002 01:58:

I must agree with Europe, you must be biased not to. Most of the worlds top djs are european, most top productions come form european djs and I think this is because electronica isn't very popular in other continents, especially america where IMO rap, rnb, hip hop etc are dominant so people are naturally influenced by other types of music.

true...

Im not asking for arguments, but i am from detroit and live there and i honestly dont see why everyone keeps talking about it so much ..There are like never any awesome parties that have to do with techno!!! I mean all you see here now is rap and hip hop in my opinion that stuff is crap! But you have to give some credit to the european Djs!
