10 is awesome, maybe even better than 7...

11, well, it'll probably be good, but personally I prefer the traditional style.

7 was good, yes. 6 was even better. nothing beats that storyline and awesome dialogue. unparalled in any other rpg to date.

Well I wasn't much a fan of ff8. From a pure gameplay and storyline standpoint, ff6 and ff4 stand above the rest of the series IMO. I just feel like they're spending too much time worrying about the graphics, and not as much making the game fun to play.

The only thing about 7 that I thought was really better than 6 is that I really liked Sephiroth a lot more as the villain than Kefka. I think it's important for a villain to be a little more complex than just a pure psycho bent on destruction.

seph was indeed a good character. ff7's storyline was excellent. close to ff6. but i dunno...it kinda fell short as the game progressed somehow...i dunno how to explain it. like it just kinda lost it's effect. at least it did for me.

yes ff4 and 6 are definitely quality. 6 is king and always will be both storyline and gameplay wise.

ff8 imo, was garbage. square knows it. they attempted to do something different with ff8. they built the game with that sole intent. but it obviously failed it was a good try tho.

FF8 sucked balls. I couldn't stand it.

FF9 was ok. I still haven't finished it, even though I started playing the game 3 years ago. It just isn't that appealing enough to keep me playing.

FF10 looked ghey. I chose not to play it 'cuz it looked too gay.

The best RPG of all time is Chrono Trigger.

Another noteable mention for Square is Mario RPG. That game was pretty good (compared to FF8 anyways).

ff3 was the best but easiest
chrono trigger was the best squaresoft rpg game on any system ever
ff2 was the hardest. FF4 the japanese 2 was even harder

The worst IMHO was 9. IT was just so damn goofy with horrid music.

I haven't played 10 or 11 yet. But that poster for 12 looks amazing and gave me an erection.

hehe no, it didn't come out. mosaic just got his numbers mixed. with that many FFs, it can get a bit confusing.

XI (11) has already been out in japan for some time now. and soon to be ported over to north america.

Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger are the best Squaresoft RPG's...I had the most fun playing them.
