Laser Eye Surgery

Would you consider getting laser eye surgery?

Yes, I'd get it done, since I'm comfortable with it.

i think the phrase is 20/20

I think it'd depend on how serve the condition of my eyes were, if they were fucked big time and it was struggle or lazer, dont think u have much choice in the matter.

I don't mind wearing glasses

i have 20/20 so i dont need it done.....but if i didnt have 20/20 i wouldnt...because iv seen those things "behind the front" or what ever and it was showing hospitals that would do the sugery and your eyes arnt that type that need it or can have it......so your fuct for the rest of your live and down $18,000 not worth me never seeing correct again becuase a doctor wanted a qwick buck

The thought of it majorly creeps me out. My eyes are alright now, and in the future if they're not I think I'll just wear contacts

If my eyes were but I'd do it

i would if i could afford it

I have 20/20 vision...so no need to get laser eye surgery. Even if I wore glasses, I'm not terribly sure if I would get it done.

I plan to get it done end of this year, and seeing what it does for you, I dont think it's really -that- expensive, well worth the cash, being able to wake up/shower/have sex and see everything clearly

Choose PRK over LASIK.

Posted by Furel on Jan-10-2003 11:52:

I would cause I really dont look good under glasses...

Posted by teklord310 on Jan-11-2003 04:42:

I wear contacts and glasses all the time. My vision sucks. But I definetely would not get laser eye surgery. IMO it hasn't been around long enough to know the long term effects. Who knows what could happen 20 years from now. It is also very expensive, i'll wait a few more years.

Be Cool!

Ok i saw a thingy on tv about eye surgery and it freaked me right out. They cut and disect your eye into a bunch of sections and then laser it up then put in some chems to make it red and then put it back together. ALL THIS GOES ON WHILE THA PATIENT IS AWAKE AND WATCHING !!@!@#!@#!@# after tha surgery tha patient got up and left tha table. !@#!@# i thought i was gona throw up.

That's a procedure called LASIK. An ophtalmologists I was talking to mentioned the flap never really heals.

Whereas PRK simply lasers over top of the cornea.
