Review: Push @ APO2003

bon bon bon...

le set a dur� 35 minutes, plutot que les 2 heures pr�vues. Raison, 2 membres de Push, dont Mike, n'ont pas pu �tre l� � cause de probl�mes de visa/passeports. C'est donc d�j� une grosse chance pour Ray Junior que un semblant de Push aille pu se pointer et jouer quelque chose qui avait de l'allure pour satisfaire tout ceux qui ne connaisse Push que de nom. Finale avec Universal Nation, la 2002 peut-�tre, j'en sais rien. Personnellement j'ai trouv� �a super, mais lorsqu'ils sont partis apr�s 35 minutes, j'�tais en tabarnak. Tu as un gars de Push qui crie, "dj!! MUSIC!!" et l� t'as Wizz (Montr�al) qui sort d'en dessous d'une table... les mecs de Push se cassent, s�rieux j'allais arracher la t�te de tout le monde qui criait Wizz Wizz Wizz!!... path�tique...

Juste avant Push, c'�tait G.O'Brien, qualifi� de Dj Tech-trance. � noter que G.O'Brien a dropp� Seven Cities (AvB), ainsi que d'autres track trance pas mal. Vraiment bien le set de G.O'Brien.

MOMENT OF THE NIGHT!! Je marche dans un couloir, je rencontre les 2 gars de Push avant leur set. On cause un peu, j'leur demande si je peux prendre une photo, ouais pas de probl�mes, l'�clairage est parfait, la distance, tout est cool... bang la photo est mauvaise (pourquoi?!?! arg!). J'viens de rater ma chance. Apr�s leur set, je retourne les voir, on cause encore, je leur parle de tranceaddict, l'un des deux connait le site, il y est meme inscrit, sympa. Ils m'aiment bien, m'offre de prendre une photo avec moi.. Mais les piles de mon appareil sont vides. Grrr..

La qualit� du son n'�tait pas fameuse.. les basses d�connait, ce qui cachait partiellement la m�lodie de plusieurs track trance..

Omnipr�sence �touffante de candy de tout genre. Y'a rien d'�tonnant l�-dedans, Ray Junior = preteen candies (mais d'ici peu, ce ne sera plus comme �a, h�h� croyez-moi )

Lot of cuties = Lot of kisses at midnight

I just got back from Push and I was so disappointed that the set was only 45 mins but I got to hear Universal Nation and Strange World. I thought the reason why, was becasue Mike got into a car accident on the 26th and maybe he was injured. So which two made it? I saw two people on the stage, who were they.

People were nice. Nice venue. Got really really hot on the first floor but nice place to sit and relax. Nice countdown to 2003 and i got to make out with my honey.

It was ok. I guess I should of stayed home.

Mike and another one member didnt get the autorisation to enter Canada in time. They were supposed to be 4.

I can't BELIEVE that Push only performed for 35mins... I can't believe that M.I.K.E wasn't even THERE!!!!!!! HE IS PUSH!! But aside from all the things that went wrong over the past few days I spent in montreal, I had the best New Years EVER!

Thank God for Dj Wizz right after playing some decent trance otherwise I mighta really lost my mind...

question, does can anyone name a tracklist for wizz's set, there's a tune he played that I'm DYING to find, like 5-6 songs into his set I believe... a tune or two after Tour De Trance - Wan Wu?? Anyone?

i think its because of the E,
i did a skl paper on e once and i read that e opens comunications between ppl, so that must prob be it

As for Push, it was even not a real live, they just put a mix CD.
I spoke with the guy who did the booking and they fucking played a mix CD! ahahah

It is impossible that there was 750 ppl there .... maybe 500 ( a lot considering the snow storm outside !!!)

This is not a affirmation? And the worst in that, Dave Clarke is one of the favorite in Quebec city and both times he played Dag was pack.

Um, yeah the actual tunes themselves, but they did alot of it live, like the intros to each tune, etc... I was watching them play the whole time, and heard/saw them make lil mistakes once in a while, but they probably planned the slight mistake on the cd already and just matched there fingers to hit the key at the precise moment to make it SEEM like it was a real mistake right?
