attn: promoters and trance lovers...free mix cds!!!

I have finished recording my latest mix cd a couple weeks ago. If you are a promoter please email me at [email protected] with your address and I will mail a couple mixes out to you! Please also identify which promotional crew you are with...

I also have a couple cds on hand to give away to the first TWO people in each section on TA(west, toronto, east) who answer these questions correctly(6 winners total). Only the first TWO correct answers for each question will be accepted! Once the 2 correct answers are in for question 1 then move to 2 and then 3. No private messages, you must answer on the forum and identify which province your from! Good luck!!!

Sorry to rain on your parade and pardon me if I am not up-to-date with my DJ's BUT WHO ARE YOU? Why this big game to get your latest CD? Most of us here would gladly post the mix in hopes of getting promoted internally or through word of mouth. I know Trancegeek has put a lot of work into his mix and then you come along and make us play some game like this is a real anticipated CD??? Dude just post the mix, let us review it and take it from there.......

I am ETHER and KURIOUS JORGE...I am by no means a household name yet, but am working my ass off to perfect my own tracks and sound along with continuing my passion of spinning. Check out www.kagdilarecords.com for more info on me... I spin everything from hard n melodic trance, techno, acid, desert trance/techno, psy/goa as ETHER, and dark prog house/trance and house as Kurious Jorge.

If I had a website I would put the mix up there. Since I do not have one this is the only way to get my name out there, and since mailing copies of my mix to every person that wants to hear it would be way to costly this is the way it has to be done. The mixes are recorded live and as a one shot one take to keep the live feeling of my sets.

I wasnt trying to make my mix sound superior to Trancegeek's...I am sure his mix is great too. But, if you can find me someone who WILL post/host the mix, I will send them a copy to do so.

i'm sure DJether just wanted to give away some of his music to Canadian TA's specifically .. and thru a fair way he used a contest to determine who gets one. no harm in that and no need to hang the guy over it. there are a lotta up and coming DJ's on TA working real hard to get out there like ShAwZy said..

but like ether said, he's willing to post it digitally if he can find a host but can't find out at the moment.. so i think what he's doing is fairly harmless.. mercy to the man!

Exactly. Who are u? You are just like me and a bunch of us. A local trying to make it big. But why should ppl have to compete for your mixes? Are you trying to say You are supperior to us and others? I make mixes, as well Mecha and Eso. We don't make ppl compete for the mixes. U want them? PM us. We got a website too: http://www.lab06.tk it may not be as flashy as yours but at least I am not gonna make ppl compete for a cd/artist that no one in the world has heard of. Mecha and Eso have spun in the local scene here but no offence I never heard of u, so why should I compete to get your cd??? Lab06 will give cds out to anyone who want them, with covers and labes and all. How come u don't do that? You are just as famous as us...

I am not trying to say that u suck or what not but I think your aproach to promoting yourself is rather arrogant.

Hey the way I see it everybody has to one way or another get heard out there. Atleast he ws honest about his approach and he didn't charge people or any bullshit. I hope Ether gets things going and it seems that he has good taste in music. You guys shouldn't flame him because I don't think he was aware that his approach wasn't going to sit well with others.Next time dude, just ask Swamper or a moderator how you can get your demos across.
