Calm down, dude! Sleep it over! Don't panic!

Go to a doctor at once otherwise you have a fair chance of getting a permanent ear damage. The doc will give you an infusion that will help you.

This is serious so go to a doc.

be careful with yer ears ppl....ya only got one set of them.

Posted by TranceGiant on Jan-03-2003 20:27:

Apparently Ive already managed to destroy my left ear. Thhat is, when it comes to hearing basses. I hate it..when Im putting my headphones on I hear synths and all sound on both ears but only my right one will also feel the beat. I really tried to cut the daily music dosage and lowe the volume but it wont help.
Dont wanna go to see a doc as I had a hypchodenriac period 2 years ago where Id bug him every month and check if ive got a Tinitus. Guess Im not credible anymore

Me too. My eye sight is perfect, but my hearing sucks. When I lay on my left ear I can hear the TV but on the other side I just can't.

I probably has something to do with a Hellraiser party back in 1998.

After that the problem started. It didn't get any worse so far, but I keep a close look!

ME I got this problem in my right inner-ear...
I can hear myself talf breathe eat drink etc... louder than usual
Its freaking me out.. I went to see a doctor for the ears once.. we told me that this doesn't effect my hearing... but its not curable...
This problem comes and goes every day!
anyways... just don't panic.. go see a doctor... maybe its just an infection that you have... or maybe it is permanent... U gotta know what it is and what to do.

Lol I gots that problem too...only it happens to me after excessive physical activity only. I don't think it's really a problem, rather a clearing in the sinuses and your earholes or somehting like that...that's what my physician told me. Nothing harmful.

Posted by tecman on Jan-03-2003 23:01:

Luckily my hearing is PERFECT.

Will mess it up with insanely loud music in a year or so... probably...

That might have something to do with it,yeah.

My hearing is just downright weird.

I can hear normal sounds better than our dog, sometimes. I can hear a car at the gate, about 50 meters away, through our double glazed window, with my music on.

But put me at a table with a group of people and often I have to ask them two or three times what they said. I can hear them, but cant decipher what they're saying.

A nuisance sometimes, but handy other times.

I have realy good hearing my ears have perfect pitch and i try to protect them much as possible, but i do have one problem thats more annoying than it is harmfull my ears tend to clog with earwax and i start to get headaches soooo bout once a month i go to a doctor and get my ears cleaned as i am unable to do it myself because when they clog the inner ear gets inflamed and it hurts to clean....I'm sure lots of people have this problem but it goes unnoticed it may be also caused by climate....So if and of you are having problems hearing maybe you just need a good cleaning.

Dunno

I have this problem where sounds go in one ear and out the other. Teachers and My parents have been complaining about it to me for years just about my whole life and I dont know what to do about it! all the doctors are stumped

Then there is this other thing I have this uncanny way of senseing if a Tv is on in another room or even in the house, I hear this very highpitched noise i have tried to describe it to my family yet they all denounced me and called me crazy. I dunno im real messed up i guess

For a sec, I though it claimed your has
lost your sense of humor. For that, there's
Monty Python...looking on the bright side of life,
that's where it's at... good luck.
