Lansing might be the capital of Michigan, it's still a big village. Rock, hiphop and country is what they call music here
Can't wait to be back in Belgium.

I planned to come back during the holidays (last time in Belgium was january 2002 til may 2002) but didn't have the cash for it.
Studying Digital Media at Lansing Community College and boy, wat een hoop idioten daar. If all goes well, graduating in July 2003

What do yo do? Working or studying?

i am studying @ Antwerp university UFSIA (near ossemarkt and paardemarkt), doing iaj now (combining 1 - 2 year) handelsingenieur or commercial engineering. it's 5 years so i still have some work

We went to club Space in Detroit once, that wasn't too bad. Some 80s house shit, but a bit of trance as well.

9 january my first exam beleidsinformatica 2e kan
nah not to much partying, i had a new course accounting and i did that one bad a 7. Now law which i did very good in my opinion (oral exam) 4 questions, i know 3 of them 100% and 1 question for about 95% the fucking idiot gave me a 9 (but i was the last one to do exam and 4 other students who were before me, guess what they all got a 9) so that sucked like hell. I went later to the prof to see my exam, we looked at it and you know what he said, if i see it again now, i think a 11 or 12 would have been a better score. I sat there like because a 7 and a 9 is just one point under 10 too much. Now i got to redo all my 10's and 11's too. Grrr this system sucks

I am on strike! i Dont go out here, I prefer to stay home and play my music.. Space would be the only decent club IMO...

Man, that sucks. I thought they were going to change that system too, along with converting to Master's and Bachelor's degrees. While they're at it, they should kick out 50% of the profs too... there's too much idiots there. I did one year of industrial engineering at the paardemarkt, you practically break your nek over them.

Hehe, same here. My music equipment is better quality than most clubs anyways. I especially like to play trance really loudly in my car during the summer months, to annoy the MTV-watching countrylovers here.

hell yeah the midwest sucks, im in MN. not a big trance or house scene round here, but we do got Plush(its a trance party) every saturday night. Yet i am not able to go because im not 18, still a little 16 year old kid. it sux, but me and a buddy are gonna try and get some house parties going and mix tracks there. thatll be the best we can get for awhile though, oh well.

I can't believe people are not capitalizing on this. The midwest is considered to be conservative, but that's mostly the older people. I know a lot of young people who love to go out on electronic music in general.

I would organize something, but the INS and IRS wouldn't let me because of my student visa

Hey there! I am stuck in the middle of Iowa! Any decent clubs are in my hometown (Chicago) or I head 3 hours north to the Quest in Minneapolis.

I still mix it up in my room at the fraternity house.
