How do you ppl catalog mp3 cdr's?
what i mean here is, how do you ppl back em up and still can search on your pc what songs/cds you got?
at same time searching the ones still on pc and backed up?

I make 4 mp3-cds/year and save the winamp generated playlist in a folder on my harddisk. Whenever I search for a specific track, I search that folder.

i buy a new 320gb hdd and it to my already 120gb wich has only 10gb left
and then i use the search tool

Take a folder full of MP3s, burn them all to CD and name the folder after the date that I burned them to CD. Also label the CDs in alphebetical order.
Example: MP3s (12.02.02) A-Br
Then I make a playlist from Winamp and save that. I find it to be a fairly effective way to catalog them.
i do by date by abc by 700megs
