Last one was a draw on 65, it was also a year old, opinions change.
Lets do an updated version

PvD will win one more time !
I would never choose between these two. Each DJ has a unique place in my heart for trance...so I really can't choose
Tiesto
Tiesto
Tiesto
PVD!
I'll just repost what I put on the last thread, since I only put it up a few days before Coup closed it:
Tisto
Mixing: Poor
Track Selection: Good
Production: Excellent
Remixing: Hit-and-miss
Other Criteria: Vaguely reminds me of a pedophile.
Paul van Dyk
Mixing: Excellent
Track Selection: Very Good
Production: Incredible (though a tad bit repetitive)
Remixing: Average (Can you say Wavy Gravy re-edit? ::makes plane crashing sound::)
Other Criteria: Modest, no drugs, no smoking, honest spokesperson for the scene, and just plain cool.
So my vote goes for Paul.
PvD (it's the one that can challenge Ferry in the n of CD's I have from each one... =D )
Like Tiesto, but prefer Paulie

PvD all the way. we must win, once again.
whoa. PvD is winning by one vote at the time of my post.
Ok, my humble opinion goes as follows:
Before I saw PvD Live, Tiesto was my favorite DJ...for a loooooooong time. I will always love the Magik and ISOS albums. The track selections blow me away....there are just so many superb songs that Tiesto introduced into my life.
But then there are PvD's productions....really ingenious, as far as I am concerned. However, the live performances by both are what evince the final decision from this girl.
I like that Tiesto really gets into his sets, grinning and waving his arms, yet after a half hour, it's not so engaging. When PAUL smiles and goes crazy it's a big deal, since it's not as prevalent throughout his shows. I get a lot more excited when Paul smiles..it moves me (This is NOT related to any type of DJ Obsession, I swear. You all know just what I mean).
When it comes down to it, I voted PvD (if that wasn't already obvious) based on his live sets. His ability to feel out the crowd and connect with them/us through music amazes me. He lifts me up so high...and I don't come down until he SETS ME DOWN. I have no choice..he steals my soul. He takes me on a journey..as all music should, but with him the journey is always BRIGHT and ENERGETIC; full of love and raw emotion. I often get chills and the overwhelming desire to hug everyone.
Cheesy as this post has been, the fact is, when they step out of the studio and into the booth...Paul wins my vote everytime.
****shuts up now
TIESTO
When I compare all of Tiesto's tracks with all of PvD's tracks, I laugh at PvD
Tiesto
this isn't even worthy of a poll

Tijs has only made about 5 solo worthy productions.
I'll have to sell me soul to PvD on this one. But if you ask me, Tiesto simply has given it away with his recent decision to, musically speaking, implode.
