Physicals- a form of drug testing?

im gettin a physical in exactly 1 month and 1 week. they take blood/urine samples. will they also check for THC in the blood/urine? if so how long does it take THC to clear your system?

In Canada (I belive) they have to notify you if they are testing for drugs.

If this is just a doctor physical (and not for work or school) you don't need to worry.

THC usually clears urine in 10 days.. But it can be detected in blood for up to 45 days (since THC is fat-soluble), and in hair up to 3 months.

I do beleive you are correct. As far as I have ben tested for a physical they never gave me a THC test. The only People that get a THC tests are those working for some large offices and corps. becasue they have mandatory drug testing.

oh and yes u have to be notified of having a THC test done on you (at least in Canada)

I don't think they would. I'm not sure of the age when one has rights of medical privacy from their parents [probably 14 or 16 y/o].

I say 14, becuase that is the age of concent (in Ontario), so most likely 14 - could be wrong though.

even if he is testing for THC, by the time i get tested it will be 44 days since ive smoked. so i should be good.
