who remixes the Trance Nation 2003???

who remixed the Trance Nation 2003??? this time ferry corsten's name is not found on the cover! last time TN 2002 at least had a sticker saying that ferry corsten remixed it.

and why is it not on the hub? i cant wait to hear it!

Posted by babbel on Jan-11-2003 11:27:

Most likely it's not on the hub because it's C.R.A.P

Ferry Corsten had nothing to do with TN2003 !

Don't bother with the failed Trance Nation series - check out all of the 2002 Gatecrasher compilations instead (particularly Resident Transmissions)!

Hell yeah, man. Digital, Experience, Digitaltrance, Resident Transmission all rock. And I think theres a new one due early this year.

By the way, if the covers dont indicate who its mixed by then it must be mixed by a computer now (since no other DJ would dare mix Ministry's selection of cheese).

Posted by extepan on Jan-12-2003 08:51:

cheezze

i quite agree the trance nation 2003 is only filled with commercial traxx...

i liked the TN 2001 CD1 though

Posted by Arsalan on Jan-12-2003 08:55:

who cares who does it... it's commercial anyways.

maybe sammy will do it, if you ask me he is qualified for the job top notch.

Posted by Johnypeb on Jan-12-2003 15:31:

I think its a shame really - as Trance Nation 1 was in my opinion one of the best trance compilations ever.

Posted by Breeze on Jan-12-2003 15:40:

Looking at that tracklisting is like looking at a cheese factory.
TRANCE NATION cdz give trance a bad name.

fuck trance nation and if ure down with them fuck you too. ahahhahaha

Posted by Pio on Jan-12-2003 15:44:

That's a scary tracklist

indeed. i still got TN1 around here somewhere. TN3 was mt fav tho. Some amazing tracks. None of this commercial shittocks thats on it day

His contract with Ministry of Sound has finally ended, and honestly I don't think Ministry should have had that much influence on the tracklists of the CDs. Thats why on the cover it always says mixed by Ferry Corsten, but his other CDs will say compiled and mixed by, not just mixed.

Posted by verminator on Jan-12-2003 16:39:

why buy a cd that is mixed digitally with traktor?

which again results with no creativity, and the cd will become very boring.

the only difference on mixcd's (especially trance) are the tracklists..
otherwise they are all the same

g0 trance!..

Posted by GeezA_A|ex on Jan-12-2003 20:11:

i got every single trance nation there is. 1 was definatly the best, then the purple one (3?) then 2, that was fat too. but rest of em started to get a bit crusty... especially the new one. ah well, all good things must come to an end.

edit: mixed by Dipesh Parmar. who the fck is that ??

To be fair to traktor is live dj mixing software, ie you have to mix them using your ears.

Software like pro tools or mixmeister do not require you to do any mixing, just editing and selecting the length of time it should mix the records for you.

Most cd's are done using pro tools or at least edited to take out the bad mixes and cut time off the tracks so more tracks can be fitted on.

This was even in dj magazine, a big article about it.
