Link in Soul Calibur 2!!!

In the GC version of Soul Calibur 2 is Adult Link an extra character. He looks amazing and he's gonna kick some ass. The rumors were there for a long time and now its confirmed.

Every version has his own extra character:
PS2: Heihachi
GC: Link
X-box: Spawn

And there is a new character in every version called Necrid.

Can't wait for this game. I own Soul Calibur on the dreamcast and it's on of the best fighters I have ever played.

Me neither, it's still my favorite fighter...followed VERY closely by Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (Mortal Kombat is back and this is one damn good game!). Is there a release date set for Soul Calibur 2 yet? I've been waiting almost 2 years for it

Soul Caliber is MASTER!!! I have waited so long for 2 too and we still have to wait much longer. Soul Calibur II is scheduled for release on March 27 in Japan. The North American versions are slated for an August 2003 release.

And those bastards from Konami have decided to cancel Suikoden 3 for Europe!! I almost cry. But it is too bad I can't play us games. Not yet...

I just played Soul Calibur again on mine Dreamcast and damn it is still one of the most beautifull 3D-fighting games around. Most fighters on the PS 2/X-Box can't reach this quality. And that for a game from 1999. Dreamcast kicked ass in 1999 and 2000. Damn shame that nobody bought this system

Look at it this way; you're already close to buying it just for Link; you'll also be able to play the new Zelda (even though I'm not a fan of the graphic style, it will still rock); you'll also have Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2 (which was just announced very recently) Plus, it's cheap so if you're hard up on cash, then it's your best bet.

Checkout the flame's following Link's sword in that last one...Looks real niiice

I think Jin Kazama would have been a better character. Heihachi is just old. lol.

But think about it, in SC he's gonna be so shitty seeing as pretty much every character will have reach advantage cuz of weapons. Hei's 10 hit combos wont dont jack shit if he cant get close enough to land them.

Only was I see him being a good character is if they give him insane speed, so his rushdown game owns. but that wont happen.

who said heihachi wasn't gonna have weapons...what's the point of a character being in soul calibur without a weapon lol

i watched a vid of him from SC2 and it does look like his speed is a lot higher...then again, SC2 as a whole is a faster game, so dunno.

It's kinda funny the way this exclusive characters thing worked out. Originally, only the GCN was getting an exclusive character (Link). After MS and Sony heard about this they rushed Namco to get their own exclusive characters.
