genre help

Hey, im new to tranceaddict, im really into electronic music (obviously), but ill be damned if i cant figure out some of these genres. I was wondering if somebody older and wiser than me could tell me some of the basics, i listen to a lot of different stuff but still cant nail down the genres. thanks
