-- Do You See Colours In Trance

When I listen to Trance or other Dance music I some times see colours and shapes with the sound . Every sound has a shape and a colour . Any body els like this ?

Only when I'm high on caffeine and waving glowsticks wildly in front of me.. Then the whole club sees colors and shapes with the sound

But seriously, yeah, that happens to me too, especially with a few of my favorite songs.

Holy shit, right on man. I do for sure. I always say that and people look at me like I'm retarted. I think it might be a dj thing too tho. =)

I always always see colors, I find I put tracks together according to color too. Weird shit ay?

Some examples are:
Max Graham - Airtight = I see lots of dark reds/oranges
Freefall - Skydive = All blues, sky I guess heh

I find when I listen to house, I see all yellow, I think it has to do with the sound of chains, chunkiness to me translates into yellows. heh And dark dark prog, with no melody is like black man, just black then a tint of color when the melody steps in. Cool shit tho for sure.

It is quite amazing. People who just love Trance, are in a state of change of reality - sometimes spontaneously, or purposely invoked.

What you briefly described is similar to people having kundalini awakening. They see sounds and hear colors. That is how they describe it. I can't even comprehend that!

I can say, from Eeastern sciences perspective, is that certain elements which are very much part of the person's lives act as catalysts in activating our chakras.

I believe the person's Third Eye chakra (energy storage circuit located just above the bridge of the persons nose) is responsible for this phenomenon. The person's Third Eye sees what his/her normal eyes cannot. Simply, how this process works is the Third Eye gathers the sound fields, and tranduces them into energies. The energy streams hit your visual nerve cells behind your eyes, travels back to the visual cortex where it is synthesized.

Sounds wacky ,eh?

I am no expert in metaphisics, but I do know other people who are much better verse in this area. They can give a better explanation because they are more experienced.

I might get back to you on this if you are willing to provide more details on what you saw?

Yea I would like to know more u4ea soulstar , I will tell you every thing that happens .

First off It happened out of the blue back in 1993 when i was 17 , I heard a song on a TV show It was Called Mr Vain / Culture Beat it just jumped straight out I could see two colours and two shapes , the buzzing sound was red and moved in waves , the bassline was dark or black and round in shape . Its happen so many times now with a lot of songs I could tell you the shape and colour off the top of my head .

Also I will tell you this I have dreams with complete songs that I have never heard of before . also when I listen to music I will have some sort of trigger that sets of a new melody playing in my head . When I have strong Emotions I also have a melody playing to .

With all this happening I have been Producing my own music all of these iders and my melodies are up there with the best and I ve only been at it for 1.5 years ,also I am a Artist I draw and paint my imagination is that great people cant belive that I am not on Drugs { music and art }

The last one , from the ages of 5-13 I would Hallucinate when I got sick , it happens when I go to sleep and I would see things that the movie producers wouldent be able to do . The only way to get out off It was pertens would throw me into a bath of cold water and I would slowly come out of it wondering what the hell I was doing here . I new when I was going to hallucinate because I would be lying in bed and the shets would become the roughest rough and the smoothest smooth at the some time with the combonation sinking as fast as you would fall

I for got to tell you the shape and the colours . shapes are round , fuzzy , pointy , waves , dots , flashers sharp . Colours are , red , white ,yellow , orange ,black grey, but it uselay black in the center . I can have any combonation of the two apart from the colour black its mostly round or fuzzy .

yeah i see colors, shapes, and sounds, when im shrooming my balls off. if you see shit when your sober thats messed up man

i don't see shapes but certain sounds do remind me of some colours. People always say i'm crazy if i say that a song sounds red or bleu or something. a good example is the song flight 643 by dj tiest. That song sounds very bright green.

i don't see colors but i do imagine storys for each track...each trance track takes me to a diffrent place...its an awesome ride. any one else imagine each trance track as a story?

I'd say certain tracks spark emotions that cause my face to contort to the music. I've never really found colours with some tracks unless they were like mind-blowing such as Push "universal nation". I recently got the clip for the song & would have to say its excellent, suits it perfectly. I found it too be nice & dark & very undergroundish.

When i listen to trance and write at the same time THATS when i get my experience. Once i had trance on for 2 hours and i wrote a Short-story to school that i won a price for..
Im still amazed that i could write that good and all i remeber was that i had Trance music very loud in my headphones.....I think that trance really has the ability to open your mind!

the only thing i see when im listening to trance happens when im glowsticking... i just see all the movements that i want to try cause they look cool

You don't have to see it. But if you get some kind of reaction to listening it, then you got something going on inside your head.

Besides just Dj Pete, I've had unusual experiences too. I've made these chants called valences. Whoever listens to these chants have a very positive dramatic effect on them. I also noticed that only certain individuals, like Dj Pete, can really hear my chants on a deep spiritual level.

I've attempted 21+ valences from last year. One of them, a raver was tripping real bad on E - totally sketched out! For half an hour I saw him like that, I finally hauled him into a quiet place. I did a chant for him, and boom - instantly - his bad trip was wiped out. You should have seen the look on his face, total shock and surprise! He was feeling really good on samatha after that. Samatha means the state of feeling tranquility and bliss. This state is much more higher than euphoria.
