free tickets? pffft.
Armin is gonna rock the place, and so will Picotto. Given that Picotto's playing a tech-trance set in the Godskitchen Arena and a techno set in the Hardware Arena, here's hoping that Armin plays the closing set of the night at Godskitchen. Now THAT would be something to look forward to.
As well as that, in the GK arena there's only 7 other DJ's listed (all hard trance *spews*). Does this then mean that Picotto and (especially) Armin get three-hour sets? With the lack of other trance DJs, God better play for more than 2 hours.
I'm also really rather hanging out to see Junkie XL. I might drop my head into Speedy J, seeing everyone raves about him, but techno's not really my thing.
As you can see, full details are up at www.futureentertainment.com
Tiesto eats poo poo for breakfast.
I dont know why everyone makes such a big deal about tiesto doing a no show.
I dont know why, but lately his attitude has just been plain old pissen me off.
DJ Times: What do you usually need to do your job as a DJ?
Tisto: I like a good, high-quality mixer. Its just better for the mixing of the records. There has to be certain frequencies on there, or you dont hear the mix so well. Its very hard to explain, but not all the mixers have it. Some mixers have too much kill switch on it. They kill the record too much when you put the bass down or the treble down. So I prefer a Rane mixer or a Stanton mixer the VRM-10. The new CD players by Pioneer are really good, the CDJ-1000 you can cue it in just like you would with a record.
DJ Times: Are you using CDs that much? I thought you were more about vinyl.
Tisto: True, but after that CD player from Pioneer, I started to use more CDs. Its easier to use more CDs because you can get stuff through e-mail from people and burn them on CDs. You get a lot sent, which is cheaper than vinyl. So CDs are taking over a bit. And its 2002, so its about time that vinyl leaves. Its a difficult thing for me to say, but the technology is developing. Its going to happen anyway, sooner or later.

AND:
DJ Times: How often do you replace the music in your box? Do you play differently for clubs, for example, than you would festivals?
Tisto: I play different everywhere. I think everywhere is a different crowd. If Im at a big festival, Ill normally play harder. Its very much the people inside. They want to hear a harder sound. And if you want to play an intimate club for 200 or something, then you can play much softer music. It depends on the area, on the people, on where you are and everything. Of course, I have a few key records that are always in my box which are the stones in my box. People expect me to play those, and they carry my sets. The other pieces in my set are always different, and theyre always varied.
Basically that all translates to : HAHA!, im foolin everybody if they think im such an original DJ that everytime they come to one of my sets there going to hear something new!

but hes the best producer in the world
I couldnt really give a rats about Tiesto. I'd much rather see Armin
But I'm hangin out to see the most
Armin
Dave Seaman
Sander Kleinenberg
Mauro
Hopefully I can see all these guys. I'd like to catch Junkie XL as well.
anyway, id probably have more fun staying at home watching the 5 O'clock news.....which is also handily repeated at 7.
