TOTA's.. post your interview questions for Matt Hardwick
I just wanted to let some of you know that I may have the opportunity to interview Matt Hardwick tommorow night on behalf of TranceAddict.com and HKClubbing.com (time permitting of course). So if any of you guys out there have some (serious) questions that you'd like me to ask Matt please post them below and we'll try to get Matt to answer some of them! I'd also like to thank Temporal Rhythm and Viva Nightclub for making this possible. Should be a great night tommorow and hope to see some of you out there !

wells thanks again for all the great questions guys .. i knew some of you just couldn't possibly restrain from posting sarcasm on this thread..
let's hope he roots for Arsenal ..
How do you manage to keep everything fresh and new and different in an industry that is filled with similar styles/ways of producing/putting a set together?
No no, he can not cheer for either of those teams, in his heart he probably cheers for Liverpool, and feels their pain of late.
here's an old interview with Matt posted on Guru.net ..
might help generate some more ideas..

An Interview with Matt Hardwick
In 2001 Matt Hardwick was one of three DJs who were voted "Best Up and Coming DJ" by the readers of Mixmag. DJ magazine placed him in the Top 100 DJs in the world for 2001. His sets at clubs like Gatecrasher, Golden, Slinky and promise over the last 18 months have firmly set his place in the big league. He's travelled the world as a headline DJ with the Gatecrasher Global Sound System playing his singular sound to crowds in Japan, China, The Philippines, Australia, South Africa, Ibiza, Norway and Finland. Out of all the foreign ports he seems to like the USA the best. Playing regularly at the Limelight club in New York City and marrying a fine American lady.
As well as being a jet-setting international DJ he likes to produce high quality dance music. Tracks such as "Montenegro", which blew the roof off at GCSSS, and "Resistance", have established him as a producer who knows what his audience wants.
Playing his first ever Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1, which will be streamed to an audience of millions on the Internet it seems he's going for global domination.
How did you get into Dj-ing and what was your first break?
I got into it through a friend who has a pirate radio station in Sheffield, then I got a call to join Gatecrasher as a resident. Since then it's been up and up.
Describe your style:
From Deep Pumping Progressive to Uplifting Trance. I like to play longer sets to get the feel of the crowds. About 4 hours is ideal.
You've been resident at Gatecrasher a long time now, where do you see the future for the club?
Lots more international Festivals
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Playing to 12,000 people with PVD, Sasha and the Chemical Brothers watching. It was terrifying.
Which DJs Producers do you rate?
Scott Bond has influenced me. I've often watched him play a set and Sasha is very approachable.
Describe your perfect evening?
An evening in with my wife, a nice meal and a good DVD. I like a good horror, Tina likes Meg Ryan films.
What advice could you give to aspiring DJs?
Spend every penny you have on records.
Have you ever visited Gurn.Net? If so what are your thoughts?
I've enjoyed the site and plan to visit again in the future.
DON'T FORGET - Matt Hardwick ESSENTIAL MIX on RADIO 1 - FEB 17th
I got a good one.
Half full or half empty?
that says a lot about a person...
best answer: Who cares, TOP IT OFF!
