Right did any of you Europeans see the God awful interval show in this excuse for a contest. Right for those of you who didn't it was cheesy pop band AQUA...yes Aqua AND SAfri Duo, now what respect i had for Safri Duo was completely lost when they came on a played their bongo's to Aqua's Doctor Jones or something like that. Also the two presenters doing every link in rhyme, whilst very obviously reading of the autocue VERY BADLY, just topped of the whole thing.

Also Ireland were relegated from next years contest because they didn't get enough points this year , eventhough they won it like 4 years in a row in the 1990's.

Anyways, there you go, peace

Anyways: the performance of Safri Duo was the only bright light in the whole Eurovisie Songfestival show.

Of course they did make some trance songs, but it doesn't mean it's the only thing they do. In my opnion they cheer up every live performance. If it's Aqua or a Johan Gielen set, that doesn't matter.

For their own stuff: they are way to commercial, but who can blame them. Like I said: they are not just about trance.

You know they should goto judges, not the phone in.. Its so damn political as has already been said. Why not let a panel of 12 judges selected from the music industry and from around the world give points instead of the individual countries.

ur takin the piss arnt u?! greece always give turkey nil poin coz they have been at war over cyprus for ages... we (UK) never get points off the germans (and vice versa) and israel/cyprus always give us high points.. heheh it makes me laff how political it is.. and most of the music is bollox that even the general public (not just us trancers) cant stand!

i didnt see it this year.. was terry wogan doing his annual voice-over? he makes me laff on it coz he is always takin the piss..

Guess what:
On the 9th of Oktober Safri Duo will be in my hometown "Venlo" to perform live in the Concert Building ("Stadsschouwburg Maaspoort"). It's just Safri Duo, so not some huge rave with all different kinds of Dj's, just 1.5 hours (I think) of Safri Duo. I reserved some tickets already. They may be a bit to commercial, but their skills on percussion are awesome

meh the way i see it...commercial or not, if the artist is good at what they do and treat their fans well. that's all that counts.
