if you mean Feurio the CD burning program, you can get it at http://www.ahead.de

you can try:
mp3trackmaker @ http://www.heathcosoft.com/software/mp3trackmaker/
mp3directcut (free) @ http://www.rz.uni-frankfurt.de/~pesch/

Well all u need to do is to get rid of the 001 in the xxxx.mp3.001 and its an MP3.

For me, I've always used Goldwave. Its a small yet powerful little program kind of like Soundforge. You can set flags in the set where you want the tracks to be split. Once all your flags are set, you hit Split and it splits up the entire set based on the markers you have chosen. I've been using this program for over 2 years now to break up sets because I have not found anything better. Soundforge does this too by the way, but I find Goldwave easier. Give it a try!

sounds OK, X-Multiply

but when you've cut the set in pieces will it be just 1 long mix without gaps when you burn it?

Yeah will it burn as one mix with no gaps between the tunes?? Also do any of these programs support .cue files?

http://www.dcsoft.com/prod03.htm

this nifty little prog lets you load an mp3 and listen to it through the program itself, when you hear when you want the next track to begin, just press a button and it will create the tracks.. when you are done pop that .cue right into cdrwin and you have a cd exactly the way you want it. couldnt be any easier...

here is the link for cdrwin:

mp3s have a few frames of silence at the beginning of each track. this is how mp3s are. decode the mp3 to wave, look at the waveform and you will see the space at the beginning.

keep it as one mp3 and make a cuesheet. if your writer is supported and you are running windows, i recommend using http://www.exactaudiocopy.de (cardware).

ps. i also recommend using EAC for ripping audio accurately. nothing better : ).

Thumbs up

There are many programs such as Goldwave that let you flag your mp3 file and split your mix accordingly, but I recommend MP3 Trackmakersimply because you can grab times from winamp as your playing the mix....great way to precisely mark your splits...

Unfortunately, the freeware version only lets you split a file up to 4 times...
