Recording on computers

Does anyone knows what is the best program to record your set on your computer??

Im tring to get cubase or cooledit because I heard they were good programs!

What do you guys/girls think about these programs?

And can anyone tell me were I can find programs such as cubase, reason, rebirth, logik... I tried Kaaza and Winmx but all the cracked version don't work. I don't really have the money right now to buy them brand new!

I use Soundforge 6.0 to record my sets on pc. It works good for me.

yeah...i'm using SF6 for recording to...
2 Mpl4ever: for "reson" and "cubase" and etc search on warez ftp's i'm everything downloading from there...

Yeah I have noticed that... to get the sound working I have to connect to a server and then disconnect and go back to the main menu screen and choose play cs -> online and then connect to the server again... kinda annoying... maybe there is a patch or something that fixes it..??

anyway total recorder is ok to record vinyl through in my opinion

u right - it's annoyng :\ but...when you connecting to cs - u can change "default sound output" to your card and then play
but for recording vynil - i'm using SF6
