Trance.nu Reviewers stealing our Reviews
We just found out me and Fastmp3 a fellow member of Trance.nu called Mel who is supposedly review personelle for Trance.nu in Montreal stealing "copy and paste" our hole review section and part of our interview section from Taha's last review of Tall Paul and my interview of Mauro Picotto.
Here's the Trance.nu Review:
http://trance.nu/v3/article_show.php?id=34
And here is the same exact words in Fastmp3's review:
http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...&threadid=85645
And we found out that she takes our Tracklisting and posts them as well
Here is Trance.nu tracklisting of Tiesto @ Aria "Randomly in same order":
http://trance.nu/v3/article_show.php?id=25
And here is the exact original tracklist:
http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...to&pagenumber=4
Notice the time stamp on each one and you'll realize how Trance.nu personel are nothing but incompetente reviewers.
From now on I suggest we at least mention that the tracklist is ours and we have the complete and full right on owning it, if somebody wants to post it on another website/forum all they can do is ask permission. (Sounds impossible but better safe than sorry)
As for Aria's interviews I will put a disclaimer from now on of ownership of the interview to ZinG & Aria and anybody who tries to duplicate it without permission I will be obliged to take drastic measures to persue him and stop his infringement.
This is just an example on how people can steal your material and claiming to have competence in what they do.
Thank You
Another example:
Charlie's review on TA:http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...to&pagenumber=3
TIESTO REVIEW on Trance.nu: http://trance.nu/v3/article_show.php?id=25
Notice the similarities:
Charlie:"Now Biggy, I have a few suggestion for you... in the vip section the music is not that of a good quality... I had to put my head over the balcony to hear a better sound... the bass is ok but the rest is not... maybe you could put 2 little speaker on the corners there, it would be cool to have a good sound in the vip section. Also is it save up there ? can it hold that much weight for long time ? lol During the melody of Magik Journey, a guy next too me was so fucked in is head that we wanted to jump over the gate and he almost did !!"
Mel from Trance.nu:"In the VIP section the music is wasn't of a good quality, I had to put my head over the balcony to hear a better sound. The bass is alright but the rest was amazing. It would be nice if they would put two little speaker on the corners there, it would be nice to have a good sound in the VIP section. During the melody of Magik Journey, a guy next to me was so out of it, that me and my friends nearly wanted to jump over the balcony"
This is how people can steal your ideas, even if its not of big importance.

Tall Paul @ Aria, 01.17.03 Posted: Today at 10:21 (GMT +1) Party Info Country: Canada Venue: Aria, Montreal Date: 01.17.03 Temporary removed due to Copyright Infringement. Written by: Mlanie G, aka Mel |
THIS IS VERY LAME , that's all i can say for the moment , you can't imagine how mad i am right. I was at first going to email her personally and say "it's ok to take from us but ask permission first" but when we discovered all the things she took from here we judged she deserves a warning for what she did.
It's very sad to see how trance.nu is involved with this kind of people who call themselves "professional writers and reviewers" while it's easy to go to the next forum do a copy/past and claim you did a review.
I'M FED UP WITH THIS CRAP , WE DON'T WANT YOU TO STEAL OUR REVIEWS NOR WE WANT ANY CREDITS FROM YOU , ATTEND THE EVENTS AND WROTE YOUR OWN GOD DAMN REVIEWS.
thanks.
p.s.:the message goes directly to Mel , i don't want to put the rest of the trance.nu team in the same bag and i guess they didn't know about the stolen reviews.
thanks for the trance.nu admins for understanding the problem.
wooo! people are so stupid sometimes...can you believe she takes times to change words and everything ?!! how did you discover that
It's a public message board - you have absolutely no control over what you post. In fact, you don't even "own" it. If you want to ensure that she is in fact in the wrong when she copies and pastes in on to trance.nu you would essentially have to copywright every post you ever make, or rather, don't make the post at all.
Welcome to the internet.
Au pire tu fais comme moi, tu le fais en francais, et tu rajoute une coupe de sacre ici et la...
comme ca, meme les francais de france vont rien comprendre lol :P
j'vous agace! HUhuuu

Wow this is pretty funny...I dont understand how you can be so stupid. You must think if people spend so much on this forum that they probably brows the rest of the internet every so often.. and the funny thing is Im sure that all they'd have to do is ask and nobody here would have any problem with it.
How can something that has not been copyrighted be subject to copyright infringement? it's ridiculous. On the same note though, someone claiming they wrote something when in fact they didn't is totally lame. Who is this Mel person anyways?
Perhaps, you should talk to Trance.nu and become their reviewer for them! Fire this Mel girl, or whover it is, damn! They should at least write your name as the reviewer from now on!
Actually that is pretty low. The least they could've doen is make a proper mention of the author and of the website they copied the review off.
There is no copyright infringement, but it is down right plaigarism which is just wrong.
2 thumbs down for the reviewers on trance.nu, and thumbs up for the admins for correcting the problem.
itikia
actually once you buplish something publicy and you claim to own it with a valid proof it is exclusively yours until somebody prooves the opposit, in our case, the Date stamp of each post is clear enough to show if we own it or not unless someone else could show he posted the same article before us. So if you claim it your property it is yours and you have the right to protect it, a copyright is valid once you declare it,but it doesn't stop people from stealing, only Copyright Agencies can help you with that, otherwise you can claim it yourself and wait till the person accused reverse his actions.
Now go read books
damn this is lame... very, very lame!!!
What's the fun of being a reviewer if you copy them?!?!
Also, if she had asked to be able to quote or copy them, this shit wouldn't happen. Anyone remembers when my Misstress Barbara pictures were on her site without me knowing so? nor having any link to my site. lame very lame.

""As an active member of the clubbing scene in Montreal, I can often be seen at parties in clubs such as Aria, Sona, Stereo, Red Light, Club Dome, etc.""
i quote that entire thing: her lame factor is like 10/10 cuz she had trhe guts to put aria (the best club in the world) in the same sentence as dome/cheese factory tststststssss

I have an idea !
Why don't the TAs from which Mel stole the reviews from become official MTL reviewers on trance.nu since she isn't worth much.
That's if you want to.
question.....does a reviewer like Mel get paid for making her reviews? or does she do this for free?

I swear if she emailed/PMed me to ask if she can use it i wouldn't say no. |
come on !
how they can do that .. thats f*cking lame
I agree with Skipper. It's simple, something is protected by copyright once it has been copyrighted. That requires an act on your behalf. If it's not copyrighted it's public domain.
What Mel did is plagiarize since she used your work while claiming she wrote it. That gets you kicked out of school or fired but that's about it, she is allowed to grab it and use it. Whatever your name is on TA Mel cause you obviously troll here for reviews, you suck hard and you should be ashamed of your charade...go write up a review about a night at le Dome with MC Mario headlining or something....if you can even do that...
LMAO - MC Mario...what isn't he as good as tiesto? Common, Sanstorm, alice deejay, dj sammy, cummon, high quality shit here!
