for the US citizens

in 2004 who are you going to vote for ? Bush or the democratic candidate ? if possible explain your choice

Posted by JohnSmith on Jan-24-2003 13:27:

VOTE GREEEN!!! in fact vote ANYTHING but republican or democrat.

or, stick your head in the sand and stop complaining about things, cuz it's never gonna change.

Posted by LiquidX on Jan-24-2003 17:38:

Definetly not BUSH. Mmmm.. GREEN party will obviously not win. but who knows. I vot DEMOCRAT, depending on whose running. I like Gephardt.

Posted by FuzzyGreen on Jan-24-2003 17:50:

I usually vote for whoever the libertarian party candidate is because I belive in absolute freedom and as little government as possible. But if I don't vote libertarian then I will probably vote Republican.

Posted by Arbiter on Jan-24-2003 18:20:

Probably libertarian, unless the democrats can come up with a good candidate (which I highly doubt).

Posted by u4ea on Jan-24-2003 19:51:

I'm gonna have to go with my gut feeling on this one & vote for D:Fuse, those other candidates can't spin worth a $#!t. Besides, we could use another Texan in the White House.

Posted by KoreanDJ on Jan-24-2003 20:32:

BUSH is out.....he is so retarded, just like his dad. Al Gore should have been the president.

hmmm.....i dont complain. in fact, i am satisfied with much that is happening to me that i think i will vote republican. of course, that is if i can become a US citizen in time (it'll be close) to run to the polls and vote:

[ ] Green (whomever runs)

[ ] Democrat (Gore, Hillary...?)

[ ] Whatever other minority party

[x] Republican Pres. George Bush

>JM<

ps. to JohnSmith, not meaning to pick on you or your replies, it's just that i'm totally on the 'other' side as you know

hmm wanna buy my citizenship?

And read a newspaper once in a while, b/c everyone knows that Gore and Hillary ruled out running a long time ago.

Blah, the Bush presidency is one of the reasons I decided to leave and go to Europe for a semester. So yeah, I'm def voting for the Dem, especially since most of the candidates are Yalies (Lieberman, Howard Dean, Kerry)

Posted by PeacefulWarrior on Jan-29-2003 04:35:

I will most likely vote for Ralph Nader if he runs. It's not throwing your vote away if your state votes primarly for Republicans, as Colorado usually does.

Well, considering that I used to have dinner every day for three years with huge portraits of his dad and his grandfather looking over me I perfectly understand why

But Bush is Skull & Bones, that's the evil Yale mafia. The Yale Dems like the Clintons, Lieberman, Kerry, and Dean are not that bad

ROFL.....

I plan on voting for whichever Democrat who runs for office... I do like what Bush is doing for our security. However, I disagree with his stance/agenda on practically all domestic issues (this applies to the Republican Party as well).....

Basically, I think the Republican Party is poo. Too bad Clinton (Bill) can't run again... I liked the man.

They aren't confused so much as they are pretending to be something they aren't, so that the illusion of choice is maintained.

i will vote for anyone that runs against bush! come on we all know gore won. but that is the beauty of this country, yeah we have our freedom (if that's what you want to call this sham) but we don't even elect our president based on popular vote we have someone else do it for us (ellectoral college, what ever that is). i would like to kill this whole electoral college scam. for example bush spoke at the yale graduation ceremony and said "look i was a C student and look how far i have come". fuck off. he can't even solve our reccesion. i don't know about all of you but i can barely pay my bills. canada is looking really good now, and i hate saying that i am an american, but bush is the bearer of bad tidings. he will bring us to world war 3 and we have no saying what so ever. he doesnt care, just wants to bring iraq down that is his main concern. seriously he has no clue what is going on outside of iraq, n korea and texas. look at his foreign policy..where has he travelled to? nowhere remote. look at africa they have tribal wars going on. zimbabwe is being ruled by a dictator and the american people have no clue. watch the BBC news it is more informative and less tainted by all this censored american shite. i want out of this country, the govermnet can care fuck all about it's people, they haven't a clue. travel outside this sham of a country and you will understand!!

ii am babbling but i know 1 thing bush is surely leading us into ww3 and all of us in our age group should be concerned as we will be the first to be drafted. bush will bring the draft laws into effect.

be aware of what's going on or your life will depend on it!!!!

Please don't vote for George Bush. Just don't.

Posted by biznology on Feb-04-2003 17:15:

well lets see... right now im thanking my lucky stars im not IN the US right now, and thusly not completely concerned with the homeland. when my choice comes, PeacefulWarrior has a good point. but i really dont agree with the 'ill choose Bush cause it doesnt matter' thats the worst viewpoint ive ever heard.

i agree with maddox:
http://maddox.xmission.com/limits_to_freedom.html

bush is an idiot, who cares if he bought his was thru school.

Posted by DJ_Skaya on Feb-04-2003 22:43:

Well, as far as I can tell Bush has done nothing for this country (except promote his self image and put us further into debt). i think it's funny how republicans have so much money and when they get in power don't know how to use it.

It's my understanding that the president of the United States really has little room to fuck up, and George has been doing that a lot lately...

It's like people who voted for Bush because he's a "normal" guy. Maybe it's just me, but I don't want some regular joe to be president. Sure, his dad was excellent at foreign politics, but Jr. obviously isn't, nor does he hold any other strong point, except turning the world against us and making all the american people look like idiots.

Yeah it's really bad. Clinton actually got us out of a deficit budget by the end of his 8 years in office, but the first year Bush was in office we immediately plummeted 250 billion dollars into the red. Including his new proposals, we should surpass the past records for biggest total deficit (held by his father), and even biggest deficit as a percentage of GDP (surpassing the infamous Lyndon Johnson). Where did all the fiscally responsible Republicans go?

if it wasnt for the Republicans, or Reagan more specifically, your country would still be a USSR satellite.
