Direct Connect Question?

Today I've seen a warning message in the Soulseek rooms about no to share Shappire cut tracks, because he believes that he can go to bankrrupcy due to Soulseek.

INCREDIBLE, HE MUST LEAVE COCAINE AND BITCHES!

Some Spanish guys and I are joined to the "Remember/90s Valencia Room" and in case that soulseek shuts down we want to create a Direct Connect account like the Tranceaddict one.

How can we do that?

goto http://www.neo-modus.com/?page=Download and download all the server software, then install on a computer conected to the net and then spend a few hours configuring it. it would be easier for you if you had a perminant ip adress as it makes it easier for any possible users to connect to it.

No, I'm not heartbroken. Simply I don't believe that his label go to bankrupcy because of Soulseek. I think that probably there are another causes like he isn't good, etc.

The message posted in Soulseek says:

"PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SHARING ANY SAPPHIRECUT TRACKS! THE ARTIST IS CONVINCED THAT THE FIVE OF YOU DOING SO WILL BANKRUPT HER LABEL. THANKS!"

I don't believe him.

The soulseek room is dedicated to the electronic music played in Spain between 93 and 98. The Golden epoch for the Valencia and Catalonia clubs. I don't think it will become full of leechers, all of we have moreless the same music and we have the same interests.

yeah, don't share mp3s, or artist will go bankrupt... especially poor oakenfold and tiesto... so how about we just put a wrap on all this mp3 sharing, eh?

mp3s promote artists. without mp3s many of the people wouldn't go anywhere in the scene.
