Opera Song - Darren Tates classical rework!

Ok, I've got to hand it to this guy. I've just heard this and think he's a genius. Even though its not dance if you haven't heard this version you should, because its utterly beautiful and as uplifting as anything else I've heard. And as an avid trance addict thats rare.

opera song is a bit cheesy.

Jurgen Vries and Darren Tate are the same person incase you didnt know.

imo dub mix is excellent but this version is just perfect for a disney movie.

this track disappointed me.

reminded me of the part in Sleeping Beauty that was satired in Shrek where she's singing to the birds.

hehe, hail the button, otherwise we'd have another thread about this

I have a vision
That no one can imagine,
I can see things that no one sees
I have the wisdom, knowledge of the future,
I'll take it to the end of time with me

Deep down beside me,
Way beyond the silence,
I can hear things that no one hears.
Questions unanswered
Better left unspoken
I'll take them to the very end with me

And it's a [brave new]? world that we live in,
As we lose ourselves tonight.
We have no control of our feelings,
As we journey to the corners of our minds.

a bit on the cheesy side plus the lyrics are a bit cheesy too, yet it still manages to have great piano & violin elements. gotta give credit to jurgen vries for almost crossing the cheese borderline and still managing to make a listenable track.

something that could make it big on the radio though

i think if the lyrics were half-spoken half-sung with a low male voice in a deep funky progressive track, they'd sound much better

good tune overall, especially the dub mix.

would be good if someone made an instrumental. Altho then it would just be called "The Song"

jurgen vries should rename himself and release it as The Artist - The Song

perfect

Judge Jules played this on his NYE set right before 2003 hit. It was a perfect selection for the moment, I couldn't think of a better track, but thats the first time I heard the track n thats why i think i like it so much. Great tune in the right setting.
