Hello Dave,

welcome to the boards. Glad to have you here.

I would to know if your Remix of "The 15th" by Fischespooner will be released? I heard the tune and I really liked that RMX.

many greetings,

xxx

Awesome!!! You guys are definately on a roll, and I think everyone here will agree. Can't wait to hear the new stuff and good luck in the future.

oh man...summer calling followup??

*drools*

Posted by davedresden on Jan-27-2003 07:40:

wow! so many replies so quick

(blushing)

thank you!

anyways...the fischerspooner remix was denied by the band - they thought it was too"average" and don't like dance mixes.

it wasn't really my project anyways. my friend troy roberts got a spec mix from ministry of sound but he'd never worked on any music prior. so we went over to joy's house (of d:fuse & joy fame) and did the mix over the course of a few days. perhaps i can get capitol records to get interested in the mix now that they've signed the band...if all else fails...perhaps we can put it on tranceaddict.com as a download...

perhaps.

speaking of ADD - we had to change our name to "attention deficit" and the first thing to come out under the new name will be the armin van buuren "yet another day" remix on nebula. i really put my heart and soul into that mix. i hope you all like it.

Hello Dave,

thanks for your reply.

Im so shocked that Fischespooner didn`t like your Remix. I guess that will happen with Paul van Dyk`s Remix of "Emerge" since it`s another dance Remix. What a shame isn`t it?

thanks again for the infos.

many greetings,

Wow, I can't wait to hear that new Andain track..."Summer Calling" was one of my favorite tunes of 2002. 50% of the songs on my portable MP3 player currently are ones by you I'm really liking the stuff you've been putting out! I can't wait to hear your future releases, and good luck with this year...keep it up with what you've been doing and you'll be huge. Respect.

Rasta Your Remixes

Gabriel and you have brought such a refreshing breeze into the trance scene that I have been addicted to some of your latest productions. You guys have a very unique and fresh style, right now I'm thinking about Mindcircus, Summer Calling, On a High, and Music. Mindcircus is one of the most beautiful songs out right now and one of the most unique. I'm not trying to kiss any ass here, I'm just a tranceaddict that appreciates innovative and unique sounds when I hear them. Keep up the great work guys, you will keep your fans for a long long time. Any thoughts on touring the US anytime soon?

Dave

I am curious as to the status of the ADD remix of 'Curve - Cold Comfort'. I think this is a beautiful track, I have heard there was some conflict with the label as to the release so I was just wondering the status. Any further info would be appreciated.

Thanks

damn its amazing to see someone as talented as yourself be so open and humble on these boards! regarding your remix of Curve - Cold Comfort with josh, when will it be released? i think it is an amazing tune, the bass line and kick is quite awesome.

Posted by UWM on Jan-27-2003 07:52:

lol

wookieslut within 1 minute of each other we posted regarding the same track.

** edit - this remix was with Ryeland Allison, not Josh Gabriel

Posted by davedresden on Jan-27-2003 08:16:

the Curve "Cold Comfort" remix was something we did for our friends scott and jason of deepsky, who were going to start a label called Deepsky Music. this never happened and so i'm trying to clear the vocals with the band and perhaps get the track signed as an attention deficit original feat toni halliday (vocalist of curve)

we're this close to signing "use only the drugs" so that should finally be out imminently.

josh gabriel & i are also almost complete with our saw records follow-up. i played a demo version of this in the 11/25/02 global dj broadcast. it's song #5 in the mix.

i'd also like to mention since i have your attention that it's now more than ever imperative that you all purchase your dance music. dance is such a fringe music to begin with and with labels cutting budgets and everything, the first thing that also is going is dance. remember- if nobody gets paid, then we all have to go out and get real jobs and cannot spend the time nessessary to make this music! downloading is fine, but please purchase the records you love!

: )

definitely. many labels are currently struggling and having bad times almost to close down, which is terrible for the music industrie.

I have another question, if you don`t mind.

have you any infos on the remix you guys did for Three Drives` "Carrera 2" ???

haha unfortunately i wish your vinyl were released faster! im like checking www.juno.co.uk everyday hoping that "im on a high" will be on there! so far i think i have purchased pretty much every remix you guys have made. i do think its importantto keep up the financial support for the artists. its a very good point especially since alot of trance listeners leech mp3's and dont purchase vinyl. without money, artists just dont have the same incentive to bust there asses on these quality tracks

well I myself don't buy vinyl because I don't have decks I do buy CD's though. I have both of Sasha's GU's as well as his ADD; plus countless other CD's by the likes of Digweed, Hybrid, S. Tomiie, Conjure One, etc etc etc. If I like the artist/DJ, then without a doubt I will eventually buy their CD out of respect. Like Dave said himself; they need to make a living somehow. Nothing is free in this world, they have to support themselves somehow.

So yea, Dave; when are you guys releasing an artist album? (and by the way, keep up the good work...I really like the style you guys bring to the scene)

Hello! hey mr.dresden...

much respect for your work with mr.gabriel. I love the 'sound' you guys produce!

(graphic will be changed to 'dub 4 satoshie')

much respect
