I use AOL Instant Messenger all the time. (well, actually DeadAIM so i dont have adds)

Are there any other programs or utilities to optimize AIM? Like the DC++ of AIM?

i use AIM+ - removes ads, cloning abilities, + history. quite a nice addy

its nice and opensource and runs on linux as well! and you can have aim/msn/yahoo/icq/irc and the kitchen sink running in it as well

dude, back when i was playing around with linux, i took a look at the manuals, and there was a question in the faq that went something like this:

"how do i install a coffee brewer on linux"

and they had a detailed description, and even pictures.

i was like WTF???? you lazy geekass bastards!!

haha i remember seeing that, some dude with a full size tower put a coffie machine under his cd drives, a quality idea although as you said lazy!
