ID Contest Part Deux

okay peeps, Glaniskanis and I welcome you all and invite you to take part in the second ID contest (after a lot of presure :P)..
we made the contest a harder imo so if you don't have a lot of good id's don't be ashamed

here is how it goes

1. download the id zip file
2. id (identify )as much tracks as you can!
3. mail us back the results of your id quest
4. look on 15 feb. to see how you did!

do your best and all attend, the more the better! (glanis you do all the paperwork!...)

ps. the winners of this contest will do the next one or will see to it that the next one is done!
ps2. mods please make this one sticky, thanx very much!

Finally Just downloaded the file and I'll start ID'ing right away Hope I end up higher in the competition than last time. Well, thanks for the work guys!

Please also note that we used everything from Classic.. to Unreleased

So you might need livesets and tracklist forum also for a few... but some of the die hard ID-kings ofcourse wont need that hehe

Also please put your TA nick in the email... and you can mail in anytime you like and as many times as you want

We'll give a score as soon as we get some lists

I copied something from the old thread for further explanation

Okay, there are 25 samples to identify. You get 1 point for guessing the correct artist, title or remix. So, if it's a remix of a track, you can earn 3 points, otherwise : 2 points. An example : Let's say I included a sample of Junkie XL - Breezer [DJ Tiesto Remix]. Here's a list of possible answers and how many points each answer gets :
- junkie xl - ?? -> 1 point
- ?? - breezer (dj tiesto remix) -> 2 points
- junkie xl - beauty never fades (dj tiesto remix) -> 2 points
- junkie xl - breezer (dj tiesto remix) -> 3 points!

In case of an Original Mix or a Radio Edit, you don't have to mention it, there won't be extra points then.

Well, this contest is a lot more difficult than the 1st one! I only have 7 ID's at first listen and about 3 or 4 I recognize right away. But there are so many tunes I never heard! This is gonna be hard, but also a lot of fun

OK I DLed the file and yeah does seem to be a bit harder than the last comp.
on 1st listen there is 3 that i have never heard, lol.
got about 14 ID's on 1st listen, will listen again when i get home again tonight.
