always wanted to know what these would be useful for in producing before i download them again and give them to my friend...er....buy them...for christmas... ;-)

i think it should be whatyou feel more confortable with. and you like how it works. some like cool edit, some like sounforge. others like wavelab. etc.

I use it to cut my samples, and make them optimal before putting them into my sampler

+ bizarre effects on them

I use Wavelab mainly to record sounds from my synth/create loops/compress/EQ/add fx

i use soundforge to create sound effects for my websites and to clean up tracks....i f*ckin love it, u can also mpg or avi files through it to extract the sound
