the king of the UK hehe
I read something about this in another forum. SF is starting a new Friday night party called MIX. They put down names such as Carl Cox, Sasha & Digweed, and Tall Paul. I didn't want to be the first to start a rumor in case it's bullshit but it looks like it might be happening. They also said the party would begin on 3/7 which makes sense.
I'm no big SF fan, but i'm in the mood for a change of scenery. Arc is a great place, but every weekend is starting to feel repetitive and I might start loosing interest soon.
I say:
chris Liebing at U60 :P
heheh j/k I would come, if I wasn't going to be in germany at that time
I would seriously doubt people who mouth off the biggest names like that...they're not off to the fastest start in terms of integrity.
Anyway, in all seriousness: would you support this party if you knew that this would be a sign of things to come??

| Originally posted by Highmay well...i guess intelligent responses are hard to come by around here... ok kid, here's the possible scenario that comes about with this backwards type of thinking: let's say whoever these promoters are for SF want to see how much potential supprt there is for NYC's own trance-oriented party...you and the rest who think like you can tell this party to fuck off in your own colorfully idiotic way, then that party dies out and you dont have any hope of bringing better talent in the future... Or you can swallow that ridiculous pride of yours and go to support, hopefully continuing this party with the potential of bringing in all the DJs you wanna see... you still want to keep thinking like that, or you bare a night to see Acosta, meet the promoters, and tell them who you want them to bring?? this is exactly why this night is so intriguing to me...it can be a sign of good things to come... |

| Originally posted by Stassi 1. YOU provoked it 2. SF's crowd will suck no matter what happens, sad but true. 3. GA is a dickhead 4. You doubleposted 5. I know some promoters from factory, the ones i know are dicks, and they have absolutely no say on future talent. 6. Where the hell did you come up with the idea that I have a "ridiculous pride"? It's not like im holding back from seeing GA because hes at SF, I'm not going to GA because we all know he plays the same exact songs all the time, and when we go to factory we see the same exact people who were they four years ago on the same acid trip, and the same meatheads with the shirts off trying to rave like its 1998, with the same asshole bouncers, same loser bartenders, same shitty lighting system. Shit, I would have rather seen Draper at Exit than Acosta at SF. So the next time 10 people Hijack your thread, find someone else to try and pick on snoopy. |
