I started using non-swears coz I realised I can then say them in the presence of children/elderly and at work... But recently I've been supplementing these words with swearing. So now a common phrase would be..

"You fucking clown..."

...I think the swearing/non-swearing combo works quite nicely...

i don't really swear that often, i don't think.... although it has been proven that people's own perception of their language use is usually inaccurate. it would probably be better to ask other people to tape you in conversation, without your knowledge, to find out for sure.
