Electro anyone?

A couple of things to mention. Ladytron is in town Feb 24th. Even better, Adult will be here April 22nd. Also, Fischerspooner's #1 is due to be released in the U.S. in a couple of weeks. Followed by a tour. I'll be pretty fucking pissed if they don't make an appearence in Toronto. I missed em at the love parade last year and I would just about give a limb to see em perform. One last thing, anyone here got the connections to bring Dave Clarke back into town. There's a blow job in it for you.

yay someone else who's in electro We're getting Clarke in april in MTL, maybe he'll be in toronto the next day... cross your fingers and check his tour dates on his website!

last year i seen Kenny Glasgow & Dave Clarke for 5 hours of electro...Kenny & Dave spin some mad electro worth checking out their electro sessions.

are you guys talking about electroclash ? a la "i wear my sunglasses at night" ?? tiga, fisherspooner, Miss Kittin, David Caretta, etc?

of course Ladytron is going to be here while I am not!!! damn IT.
I got to see Rubbin spin a fez batik last year though. minor consolation.

Some of my favs: dave clarke, anthony rother, miss kitten and the hacker, solvent, legowelt, mt simms, fischerspooner, japanese telecom, chris korda, dj hell, tiga, felix da housecat, vitalic, dopplereffekt, FPU, john selway, bolz bolz and our own kenny glasgow spins some twisted electro/tech. Gigolo Records produces some worhty compilations. Also,the Feis Label compilation released last year is killer. Check out www.djhell.com for some bios, releases and dates.

I have two cds you might be intrested in, you might also have (we could trade or arrange something). American Gigolo by Tiga and Dave Clarke world service cd 2 electro mix!

I've got Dave Clarke's World Servic, couldn't imagine life without it, but I don't have and would care to have Tiga's American Gigolo. The only thing I got by Tiga is his Mixed Emotions double CD. As far as electro goes I've got International Deejay Gigolo 6, Artist Unknown, Excursions, Mono, Electro Luv, First Album (Miss Kitten), some DJ Hell mixes, a slew of Fischerspooner tracks and remixes, a New York Electroclash compilation, Tangent 2002 and the Feis compilation. I love to share music with people. My boyfriend lives in Berlin and we are forever exchanging music with eachother. If your interested just let me know how we can do it. Keep it real though, computer savvy I am not.

Ive heard Kenny spinnin some wicked electro shit at the Zone a few weeks back......even Mauro throws in the odd electro sounding track once in a while!

ur looking for good electro d/l anthony rother's set live @ sonne mond sterne 2002.. the advent also spins an electro set with hard bangin techno just like dave clarke.. i missed dave's set last year at turbo - not gonna happen this year!

also, i check dave clarke's website, and they didn't post his gigs for april/may yet.. i know he's @ aria sometime in may (dunno know the exact date).. he's pretty hard to book, sometimes he's booked 7-8 months in advance.. otv club in zg, cro booked him 5 months in advance.. he's there on the 15th of may..

Glasgow spins electro at the zone? Shocking. I normally steer clear from the scumfort zone but I'd make an exception if I knew I'd hear an electro set from him. Anyone know what time he hits the decks on Sunday?

It usually varies, but seriously, you cant go into the Zone on a Sunday morning and not get blown away by the tunes.....i find even addy throws in the odd electro sounding beat to switch it up a lil.

Was it his set at iDance or Summer's End (Kool Haus)?? If its Summer's End then i know what youre talkin bout man....i was right up front the whole time just watchin Clarkee do his shit!! I remember at one point, for about 15 minutes he had his eyes closed he was so into his shit!!! Didnt even peak at his crates, just kept em closed the whole freakin time!!! It was in the heart of Nathan Phillip�s square; I remember it vividly, it was 11ish when he come on. Even God couldn�t have helped us that night, what the man dropped was out of his world, I absolutely lost it! I hadn�t heard anything similar to that monster live ever before and besides to be in such a peculiar setting just topped it off... what a night that was...

Yep, he drops some crazy stuff in the Zone... last time I caught him was a couple of weeks ago (my 2nd time back in the Zone after like a year of absence), and he just blew me away. What a champ!

I recommend the Golden Boy cd feat. Miss Kitten, and a compilation called Futurism. < I have the 1st one, but read a 2nd volume came out.

I'm going to check out Ladytron- got my ticket today.
