Cultivate - Broken
Has anyone heard this beauty? gets released on Lost language in a few months i think.. great track. just wondering what you guys think of it.
The promo's have been floating around on Transcend for a few weeks now, good to see it's been picked up by a big label too cos it's a wicked tune!
man I love this tune! especially the Kinetica remix
coming out on Lost language in May

Artist: Cultivate
Title: Broken Pieces (Original)
Label: Lost Language
Remixes by:Max Graham, Goldenscan, and Dale Askew
-All these remixes are solid. I seriously don't know which one I would choose out of the bunch, but for once on a vinyl, all remixes are top notch. The original sounds a bit like a song I heard before, it was on Oakey Another World compilation, but can't come up with it right now. The Askew remix is harder than the rest but still has a wonderful vibe to it. Definately a record to have in your box. It sold me.
peace,
Steve
awesome tune ! one of my favs of 03 so far, Max Graham mix for me takes the cake
Max Graham Remix is definately the best. The other mixes do nothing to me, Original Mix is "ok".
max graham is good, but i prefer the original.. great track!
i like the goldenscan + askew mixes best
i prefer the askew mix
max grahams thrid street mix all d way
I'd say the original does it for me the most.. Others mixes are g00d too.. Max Graham mix falling in 2nd place.. but Im gonna have to pitch it up when I play it out.. First heard it from Ben Lost on his Global DJ Broadcast set and it was kinda pitched up..
woah this thread is old. lol. i still love the tune as much now as i did when i started this thread
OMFG !! Max Graham did it again !! Tune of the year !!
max graham rmx does it for me followed by the original 9/10
both discs are worth picking up...
Virgin here I come!!!

fuck the dale askew mix owns soooo much 9.5/10 FOR SURE!
i still enjoy this tune a lot! i like dale askew's liberation mix and goldenscan remix the best. max graham's third street remix is very good too. original mix is ok too.
kinetica remix, which never got released, is damn good too. it's a shame it was left out for some reason!
i'd give this tune an overall 9/10 rating.
great tune.

i'm damn glad i got the cdr!
Not so long ago I discovered the Goldenscan remix. Definately one of the best uplifting tunes I've heard in 2003. Great tune.
Original and Max Graham remix are the best imo.
max graham remix is a 10
that synth just melts me
wicked production.
Ive had it on LL Records for like a year now its getting fairly old to write about but since somebody finally did I guess i can put in my two cents.
Really nothing bad to say about it, havnt heard the Max Graham Rmx but i prefer the Goldenscan Rmx over Dave Askew Rmx. Definitely has the classic trance tune quality to it. One of my favorite tunes of '03. Worth checking out.

Original date was Feb-05-2003. Still a tune tho, even now.

| Originally posted by Nell The kinetica mix was doen by Dale Askew aswell. He originally did the remix for Transcend records, before the original was signed to lost language. Dale originally couldn't do anything though as LL had already set up the remixes. However, one of the original remixes didn't turn out to well, and Dale asked if his Kinetica remix could be used. Unfortunately he was told although the remix was good, it wasn't LL style. So he asked if he could have another go at doing something different and Ben Lost said yes. The result being.. 'Dale Askew's Liberation Mix'. Ben liked the new remix so much, Dale was then asked to remix sonorous' second sun, which he applied the same stlye of production on and corked out another amazing remix to sit nicely next to the other remixes. |
still a sahme though that the kinetica remix didn't get on the ll releases!
