War with Iraq

I watched Powell's speach to the UN. It was pretty convincing to me. What do u guys think? And what do u think about this war talk??

From CNN: U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell used electronic intercepts, satellite photographs and other intelligence sources Wednesday in an effort to convince skeptical members of the U.N. Security Council that Iraq was actively working to deceive U.N. weapons inspectors.

That pretty much sums it up. He had a slide show showing satalitte pictures, phone intercepts from the NSA, and some other goodies that made it really convincing. Go to: http://www.msnbc.com/news/842500.asp?0cv=CA01

in it, you will find an excellent post by renegade that describes while this evidence may "seem" convincing, it really is not conclusive.

Like I said in the other thread, now that there's some evidence, I might rethink my stance on war. I don't like Bush, but if going to war is the only reasonable option (which I'm still not quite sure of), then we shouldn't hesitate.

do u actualy think usa has any other goals but getting access to the oil? do u have any idea how long they made plans before executing these war missions? in the balkans (kosovo, serbia, albania) theyve been planing for 10 years before the bombing on yugoslavia in 99
just as this situation with iraq, it was all well planned and its funnythat people actualy thought there was a chacne they wouldnt attack...no matter what they will attack becasue they need the oil..
