Question

Posted by patticus on May-18-2001 09:10:

they're tied to closely together, some people hate zombie nation but like time to burn.
i mean.. to each their own

i cant stand ian van dahl, pulsedriver, warp bros, any of that nastiness.
or judge jules normally either (qontact was bearable)

Zombie Nation "Kernkarft 400" is a horrible track, but I think why everyone loved it is all too clear. It's a simple, catchy and in my opinion extremely irritating track. The kind of thing the kids love!

Posted by maniac.dg on May-18-2001 11:10:

hell, i like this track

Posted by spermbank on May-18-2001 12:03:

kernkraft 400 is a crapo track hehe
and not everyone likes the same tracks
there ARE only a limited amt of songs available at any one point..
so ppl are bound to listen to a few songs in particular

Posted by krusader on May-18-2001 14:05:

I can't stand Pulsedriver. I like Green Court but strangely there seems to be Pulsedriver remixes of Green Court's tunes and they ruin every single one of them! Pulsedriver "Cambodia" is bad, especially the remix by the Cheesemeisters of the century FRAGMA!!!!

Hello!

The song you mentioned, Kernkraft 400 - Zombie Nation, isn't even trance. I think no one can debate that.

I don't even know what the hell it is, to tell you the truth

Shame / Disagreement

Lol, that Zombie Nation track is bad, bad, bad! I fucking hate it. I got really depressed when that was the track that all people talked about when it came out

Peace

Talking

About Kernkraft's piece...it's all about your tastes. Pulsedriver..I liked the remix done on Apollo 4-40 "Charlie's Angels". Anyway, I think that a good song always remains the original. It's hard to recreate a song, after everybody recalls it in it's original edit. I especially hate those mixes made on pop songs...God!
About some songs...BT's "Flaming June" is my definition of trance. well, I'm also hooked on Sunbeam's "The first rebirth" and Taucher's "Alright". Well, again, it all depends on the taste.

Posted by D-Syde on May-18-2001 15:51:

I like that Zombie Nation track. I guess I really only like the one where the crowd is chanting along with the tune...makes me picture a huge ass club filled will people all going off...I'd love to be in a crowd like that! Anyway I dont think the track is all that bad...a little played out now. I wonder how many of you people would say they liked it if it wasnt so popular...or have changed their minds since it started to get some play time.

But yeah I guess it all comes down to people having different taste...you cant slam one person for liking a song you hate. I HATE! the Fatboy Slim song...Star 69, but look how many huge dj's are playing it.

Not all remixes of pop songs are bad. Dannii "All I Wanna Do" (Trouser Enthusiasts Mix) is one of my all time favourites and it's a remix of a pop song!

and is there any vocals in this?

Posted by da_MynDLesS_one on May-18-2001 20:03:

Everyone may have different tastes, but there are a lot of songs that a number of people particularily like... the ones that get the most radio and club play...

another example: castles in the sky...
lots of ppl like it, but I'm sure many of you hate its cheesiness...

Posted by LiquidX on May-18-2001 20:38:

Personally, then I gotta be open minded, I do like the song, not bad, the beats and all, makes it good for driving around, too bad is overplayed, and plahyed by NON trance heads.. but well, this Zombie Nation song was once Paul Oakenfold's # 1 song ( on his list ) for some months.. or one of the months from last year............... that will tell you everything.

It has the lyrics "All I Wanna Do" over the main melody, I like the vocals but there's always the Trouser Enthusiasts Ultra Sensitive Dub Mix with harly any vocals for those who don't like them!

Posted by breakdown on May-18-2001 22:17:

Yea.. everyone's got their own likes and dislikes.. so i guess people should accept what everyone likes and doesn't?
