Unhappy We All Just Lost Someone

I don't know if you guys on the other side of the water have heard, but a person i knew, who was close friends with all my female friends was brutally attacked on early Tuesday morning, and died in hospital on Wednesday afternoon. Police believe it was an unprovoked attack, and she was attacked by a hammer or something. They ddin't take anything like her bag etc, and just left her for dead. It happened just 100 meters from her doorstep in a nice area of Hampton, South West London. Many of her close freinds who are at uni, have only found out through the papers today, and from myself, i couldn't possibly feel any worse having to be the bringer of bad news.

Why does this sort of thing have to happen, she was 19, and had so much going for her. fucks sake, there are too many sick fucks on the street.

sad story mate, its sad when these things happen for no reason at all, good luck getting though this, im sure i can speak for all of us when i say we will be here for you

Posted by Lira on Feb-07-2003 14:34:

This is really sad, sorry to hear that

But doesn't the police have any clue of what happened? (I know it won't bring her back, but justice would be nice so this/these maniac/maniacs won't attack anyone else)

Thats awful. If it was my friend I would be on the hunt right now. Lets just hope they find who did it and they get a decent sentence - not the usual slap on the wrist that our wonderful country gives them.

e.g - my uncle was killed in a car crash and the driver of the car that killed him was judged to be 'driving without due care and attention'. She got a 900 fine - thats it. One day I will kill her.

Posted by dj_mdma on Feb-07-2003 14:54:

No not a clue, just a random attack, altho police are linking it to another hammer attack that happened in Christmas time in an area called Kew (where the famous Kew Gardens are)

The news is slowly filtering thru to everyone, and we are all gonna meet up tonight and comfort each other. I feel useless not being able to be with the people who were closest to Marsha the most. They are all away at Uni, far away from the people who care for them most.

And get down to her lever? You don't deserve it mate - just wait: we here usually say that "here you do, here you pay"... sooner or later, whatever we do comes back to us.

wow, I'm real sorry man. I hope they catch that freak who did it. I feel your pain, I too lost 2 friends recently. They were 16 and 17 years old. Too much sick and horrible things happens in todays society.

This is truly a tragedy. I feel sorry for the parents as well, I can't imagine having to authorize the doctor to pull the plug on one of my children. All one can hope for in death is that it comes swiftly.

Sorry to hear that man..... i can just imagine how you feel.....
must be devestating for her parents!

it's a mad world!

Thats so horrible man...

Posted by dj_mdma on Feb-08-2003 20:14:

well everyone seems to be holding up ok. i don't know her closest friends, so i don't know how it is, but the realisation is now in full action, and we just have to go on with our lives.

After meeting up with everone, we all felt loads better, we just hope that this maniac is caught, and justice is swift.

BASTARDS... they will go to hell and suffer. Very sad to hear this

Posted by Taz on Feb-09-2003 05:48:

I extend my condolences, it's sad and unfortunate when these things happen. She was simply very unlucky.

I'll say that human life is respected in society, and I think this thread attests to that point. We musn't live in fear of people who commit crimes like this, they're luckily in the minority.

I recenlty lost a girlfriend in a car accident so I know how it feels to lose someone important

Hope they get one who did it and let him/her have an "accident"
