Hmmm well the song is basicly good, even more then that the base and all its great.
But since the original is on my TOP 3 list of all time, I can't like remixes of it
The only thing i deslike in your song Gil is what u made with the big buildup... I just felt something missing (compared to the original)

But overall, nice remix...

Wow, 9/10 my friend!

Thumbs up

gotta say I really like it.... this is my all time fav track and it seems you've toned it to an almost chilled trancey version.... i like it alot fer a remix.... I'm remixing it too, since last October, still can't get everything right yet.
Keep it up!

Posted by Mr.Mystery on Feb-10-2003 08:09:

Hm... I haven't listened to it yet and to be quite honest I'm not sure I will.

Some tracks should not be remixed...

Posted by Flotser on Feb-10-2003 13:56:

Very cool track indeed!

but i only disliked how you kinda dont put the last note in the right time, by making it come later in helfsecond ot something dont know... it happens in several parts and meloyes...

but great procuction, and i gotto go now , sorry for short comment
so good luck!

Wow! How can you remix such classic stormer that quickly???

Downloading now, I'll be back later.

Cheers,
LW

lol
it wasn't that quickly mate
i was working on it for like 3 weeks, when i acually worked on some more projects at the same time

Posted by Icone on Feb-10-2003 17:08:

I see... I'm kind of in that same situation every now and then

The remix sound better than the last one I've heard from you (can't remember which one it was specifically though). But you've taken away lots of the power that was present in the original tho
I'd put some more lower notes in the main melody to make it drive a bit more... Just a suggestion
And some stereo on the drums perhaps.

Take care
LW

Posted by on Feb-10-2003 17:11:

well i've tried to stereo the beats
didn't sound too good...
and as for the "power"
i was going on a more epic version...

thank you for the comment bro!

Posted by Icone on Feb-10-2003 17:15:

Nah, beats will definately sound bad when placed on stereo. But some hihats or hits or so... Could be interesting

Laterz mate!

AGreed that some tracks shouldnt be remixed

yet you did an okay job

cept the main theme, thats really bad, no stereo on the synth, and since you used reason, isnt it stupid using such a simple mono based sample(I have that sample) ? Also sounds like at some points in the melody that a note is placed 1/64 wrong.

I agree with wim, this needs ALOT more stereo.
Again a bit simple, staying true to the original tho

Not really impressed too much, but keep at it.

You do alotta remixes, why dont do your one?

definently 10/10 gil. it's so addictive!

Hello! sorry I'm late

Sorry didn't get to post last night Gil,
work, ya know how it is!
Bit daft posting really cos ya already know I
luv the trak, but its nice to see a few more
favourable posts about this 'classic' remix.
Soon be signing on that dotted line buddy.

I am working on my own original production for about 2 months now (i'm in the army so i don't have alot of time), in the meantime, if I don't get any ideas in my head, i'm working on my other projects witch are remixes...
still working on my own though...

Anyone else wanna reply?

Not bad

The overall sound is great, sounds very tight and neat.

But.....The melody

the sample U used sounds good but the whole melody doesn't sound anywhere near as uplifting as the original.

A good attempt tho
